There is a peculiar beauty in how light clashes with shadow in daily life—especially when it's not planned. These photos, taken in strong backlight and rendered in high contrast black and white, try to show the texture of ordinary moments. Faces partly hidden by shadow, gestures illuminated only in part, people walking past a wall that suddenly becomes the stage of a play written by the sun.
The everyday is not always calm. Sometimes it’s a clash of elements—light, concrete, time, and people moving in opposite directions. This is what I found in these streets. Not a story with a beginning or an end, but a series of impressions where light becomes emotion.
Hay una belleza peculiar en cómo la luz choca con la sombra en la vida diaria—especialmente cuando no es algo planeado. Estas fotos, tomadas a contraluz fuerte y reveladas en blanco y negro con alto contraste, intentan mostrar la textura de los momentos ordinarios. Rostros medio ocultos por la sombra, gestos iluminados solo en parte, gente que camina frente a una pared que de pronto se vuelve escenario de una obra escrita por el sol.
Lo cotidiano no siempre es tranquilo. A veces es un choque de elementos—luz, concreto, tiempo y personas moviéndose en direcciones opuestas. Eso es lo que encontré en estas calles. No una historia con principio o final, sino una serie de impresiones donde la luz se vuelve emoción.
