Una chica de cabello negro,
leía un libro con anhelo,
era sobre gatos y perros,
un cuento bastante tierno.
Aquella chica debe salir,
porque a la escuela debe ir,
toma con afán su maletín
y se apresura para ir

was reading a book with longing,
it was about cats and dogs,

Al salir no se percató,
de que el libro en su ropa se enredó,
en el camino lo perdió
y en el suelo olvidado quedó.
La chica de cabello negro,
a las 3 regresa a su aposento,
busca el libro que estaba leyendo,
pero no está y entra en desespero.
>As he left, he did not notice that the book in his clothes was tangled,
that the book in his clothes was entangled,
on the way he lost it
and was left forgotten on the floor.
>The black-haired girl,
at 3 o'clock returns to her room,
she looks for the book she was reading,
but it is not there and she becomes desperate.
Se pone a llorar,
se duerme para no pensar,
y al despertar,
se sorprende con lo que hay,
Los personajes del cuento,
ahora están en su aposento,
no sabe como volvieron,
tras extraviar el libro hace un momento.
>He starts to cry,
falls asleep so as not to think
and when he wakes up,
he is surprised by what is there,
>The characters of the story,
are now in his room,
he doesn't know how they got back,
after misplacing the book a moment ago.
Lo importante es que volvieron
y la chica de cabello negro
nuevamente tiene su cuento,
aunque no hay párrafos extensos.
>The important thing is that they came back
and the black-haired girl
has her story again,
albeit without long paragraphs.
