No se imaginan lo feliz que soy al momento de salir de casa en busca de hongos y encontrarme con una buena cantidad; esta semana dimos con especies hermosas como son los hongos ¨Trametes¨¨versicolor¨:  y que podría decir de los ¨Lactarius-utilis¨:  que no transmitan las fotografías. You can't imagine how happy I am when I leave the house in search of mushrooms and find a good amount; This week we found beautiful species such as the mushrooms ¨Trametes¨¨versicolor¨:  and what could I say about the ¨Lactarius-utilis¨:  that the photographs do not convey. How great that we find it again, we haven't seen it for a while, I mean the mushroom ¨Schizophyllum¨ ¨commune¨: if these mushrooms don't seem beautiful to you, I don't really know which ones would be for you

Hace algunos años este tipo de hongo no lo veíamos en el predio, pero de un tiempo en adelante cada tanto damos con este otro hongo hermoso llamado ¨Ganoderma¨¨applanatum¨:  como ven es un hongo muy duro para poder comerlo, pero son especiales por sus ¨atributos¨¨curativos¨. No creo que haga falta decir que se desarrollan en la superficie de tronco o ramas de árboles

A few years ago we didn't see this type of mushroom on the property, but from time to time we come across this other beautiful mushroom called ¨Ganoderma¨¨applanatum¨:  as you can see it is a very hard mushroom to eat, but they are special because of their "healing" attributes. I don't think it goes without saying that they develop on the surface of tree trunks or branches.

Si bien estoy convencido que es la clasificación correcta, pero si existe alguna duda podría decir que se trata de este hongo conocido como ¨Ganoderma¨ ¨brownii¨:  Como siempre, cada semana de búsqueda de hongo es una gran aventura y una fuente de aprendizaje. Que alegría llevar nuestra camara¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ para fotografiar las especies que hallamos

While I am convinced that this is the correct classification, if there is any doubt, I could say that it is this fungus known as "Ganoderma" "brownii":  As always, each week of mushroom hunting is a great adventure and a source of learning. What a joy to take our "Nikon Cool Pix B500" camera to photograph the species we find.
