Here is a trip to a rose garden for this #sublimesunday
I came here for the roses but noticed this mantis right off the bat.
It caught a bee and chewed its head off.
They must have a careful way of eating bumblebees to avoid being stung. This mantis looks about halfway grown, I suspect it will grow into an enormous female even bigger than the mantid I caught a couple weeks ago. Big Mantis
The poor bees were in heaven not noticing the mantis. Most were loving these perfect roses.
Poor little guys better watch out for mantids and crab spiders hiding around here.
A katydid was also lurking in one of the flowers.
I wonder if this guy is eating aphids or pollen? Either one would be great in this rose.
Many of the other roses had an individual smell and most were in perfect condition.
Some of these smaller roses were even more potent smelling than the larger ones.
This pink one had the strongest smell. But later on my mouth started itching, I wonder if I am allergic to their pollen...
Now its off to the rest of the gardens. This place is great with lots of manicured gardens and critters to be found.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
