Hello every body,
I tried to get the yearly posting batch again but fortunately I failed at it. I spend the last couple of weeks struggling with really bad back pains and I couldn't sit up straight for 5 minutes. I went to physical therapy and did a lot laying down and doing exercises to get back up again. I also need to move more but I couldn't go out that easy. It was to warm and the location were I was at was not really a nice location to go for a walk. But I am recovering now. I can sit up for an hour ore two with some laying down and moving around time in between.
So that means that I could do some editing again. I started editing the pictures I took in Luxembourg. I already had back pains when I was there but the surroundings were so beautiful that it was easy to go out more often. And that helped a lot with my back pains. Walking around is good for me.
This town was a bit steep but I too my time and took a lot of rest during the hike. It was warm but it was very good doable.
Lovely streets and very nice houses along them.
People kept walking in the sunshine but I preferred the shadow side of the street.
I love these old buildings. So colorful with nice details above the widows and nice windowsills
And lovely small streets and look troughs. There is always a bit of green in the area.
It is a very touristic place so there are many restaurants and bars in the center f the town. That is also the most beautiful part of it. There is a nice river running trough the village and it's much cooler around there.
But the biggest attraction in this town is the castle on top of the hill. A castle that was build between the 11th and the 14th century. They build the castle on top of an ancient roman fortress. They did find a lot of stuff from the roman period but it's very difficult to pinpoint a time on it when the first fortes was build. The earliest time prediction was a found they made from 275 ac.
I was done for that day so i went back to the camping but I did visit the castle the next day. That also was a big hike up i can say. They did have a sky lift going up but I needed the exercise.
