This post is for the #wednesdaywalk challenge and the #makemesmile challenge collaboration. This collaboration initially took place once a month, but due to its popularity, @tattoodjay (of the #wednesdaywalk) and @elizacheng (of #makemesmile) decided to make it a weekly thing.
If you want to know more about the rules, visit the Wednesday Walk Community, started by @tattoodjay. You will find all the rules there if you want to start posting in this great community.
As mentioned in last week's post, I will continue to share photos today from a recent walk on the beach in Amanzimtoti.
Today I'll focus on waves.
Waves play a huge part in the fact the the beach is never the same. You can go to the beach two days in a row and it will not be exactly the same.
Let's start off with a typical example of what I'm talking about.
This is not something you'll see every time you go to the beach.
Let the photos tell its own story...
Looking slightly away from the beach, you sometimes see a splash when two currents meet. In this case there were some small rocks just below the the surface too, just to help it on a bit...
I like the bright white against the dark background of a cloudy sky on the horizon.
Next, let's have a look at some swells rhythmically building up to form waves...
Let's end this post with a series of photos I took while standing on the rocks.
I just couldn't get enough of these beautiful waves. So, I switched my camera to the setting to keep shooting and I just kept the button in.
These were some of the shots that came from one of those sessions...
And with that we come to the end of today's post. Thank you for reading my post!
I do appreciate it!
Next week I'll share some rocky areas on te beach.
