Happy Wednesday everyone!. This post is like the second part of my post from last week. That day began in the center of the capital, where I took a family walk with my mom and brother. But that same day, by sunset, we were on the coast, and although it was a little late to go out to sea, we decided to go for a family walk along the shores of Naiguatá in La Guaira State. We stayed at an inn very close to the beaches, practically a few meters from the river, which you can see in the first photo.
¡Feliz Miércoles para todos!. Este post es como la segunda parte de mi publicación de la semana pasada. Ese día comenzó en el centro de la capital, donde hice un recorrido en familia junto a mi mamá y mi hermano; pero ese mismo día, ya para el atardecer nos encontrábamos en el litoral, y aunque era un poco tarde para meternos al mar, decidimos salir a dar una caminata en familia para conocer las costas de Naiguatá en el Estado La Guaira. Nos quedamos en una posada muy cerca de las playas, prácticamente a pocos metros del río, lo cual pueden apreciar en la primera fotografía.
The path was rustic yet very elegant. It was a dirt road, and the closer we got to the ocean, the sand turned to sand. We walked between tall, beautiful buildings, hotels and residences overlooking the ocean and well-maintained. I loved seeing so many flowers along the path in their gardens, and while we did so, we took pictures to capture the emotion of the moment. In fact, there was a flowerbed that had white, purple, and orange flowers all at once, simply beautiful.
El camino era rústico, y a la vez muy elegante. Era una ruta de tierra, que mientras más nos acercábamos al mar se convertía en arena. Caminamos entre edificios altos y hermosos, que son hoteles y residencias que tienen vista al mar y están bien cuidados. Amé ver tantas flores en el camino de los jardines de los mismos, y mientras tanto nos tomábamos fotografías para guardar la emoción del momento. De hecho había una jardinera como tal que tenía flores blancas, violeta y naranja a la vez, simplemente hermoso 🌸
This is the same coast I talked about a few days ago in one of my Hive posts. In Naiguatá, in the Camurí sector, where small breakwaters and river mouths divide the extensive coastline into several beaches with different names—different and colloquial because the places where we took our exploratory walk are called Playa Casinada, Playa Pelúa, Playa Panty, and Playa Pantaleta. I usually go into the ocean to test out what the waves are like, but here I practically got my feet wet. The water hits so hard that you sink into the shore like quicksand, and the sand along the shore is made of very small pebbles crushed by the force of the waves. You really feel scared, and I later learned that these beaches are ideal for surfers.
Esta es la misma costa de la que hablé hace unos días en una de mis publicaciones de Hive. En Naiguatá, en el sector Camurí, donde pequeños rompeolas y desembocaduras de ríos dividen a la extensa costa en varias playas de distintos nombres; distintos y coloquiales porque los sitios por los cuales dimos nuestra caminata exploratoria se llaman Playa Casinada, Playa Pelúa, Playa Panty y Playa Pantaleta. Generalmente me meto al mar para probar cómo serán las olas, pero aquí prácticamente me mojé los pies. El agua golpea tan fuerte que te hundes en la orilla como arenas movedizas, además de que la arena de la orilla es de piedras muy pequeñas y trituradas por la fuerza de las olas. Realmente sientes temor y luego me enteré que son playas ideales para los surfistas.
So we were really happy to have gotten to know this place and take a family walk along this impressive sea, but the next day dawned and we went to other beaches 😅 They were still very close to our inn, but it gave us the peace of mind of being able to swim in calmer waters... I remember that that afternoon there were practically no people on the beaches; after all, it was Wednesday, almost sunset, and this area is very far from the connection between the capital and the coast, so not everyone makes it here. We were able to walk until late thanks to our accommodation in the area, I liked that, not feeling the pressure of having to return, and on top of that, all we felt was the excitement that the next day we would have more adventures by the sea.
Así que nos alegró mucho haber conocido el lugar y hacer una caminata en familia frente a este imponente mar, pero al día siguiente amaneció y nos fuimos a otras playas 😅 igual estaban muy cerca de nuestra posada, pero nos daba la tranquilidad de poder bañarnos en aguas más tranquilas... Recuerdo que esa tarde no había prácticamente gente en las playas; después de todo era Miércoles, casi al atardecer, y esta zona es muy alejada de la conexión entre la capital y el litoral, así que no todos llegan hasta aquí. Pudimos caminar hasta tarde gracias a nuestro hospedaje en la zona, eso me gusto, el no sentir la presión de que teníamos que volver, y además de ello, solo se sentía la emoción de que al siguiente día tendríamos más aventuras junto al mar.
Reliving these adventures on Wednesday Walks, sharing the photographs of the journey, definitely makes my soul vibrate and reconnect with that feeling, which in fact isn't so far from me. I still vibrate with the energy of the trips I took last August. Everything went very well, everything was beautiful, and I prepared myself in advance for it to be that way. The most important thing was sharing time with the people I love and knowing they were happy in those moments. That motivates me to continue and be happy too. Definitivamente revivir estas aventuras en Wednesday Walks, compartiendo las fotografías del recorrido, hace que mi alma vibre y vuelva a conectar con ese sentimiento, que de hecho no está tan alejado de mí, aún vibro con la energía de los viajes que hice el pasado mes de Agosto. Todo salió muy bien, todo estuvo muy bonito, y es que me preparé de antemano para que así sea. Lo más importante fue compartir tiempo con las personas que amo y saber que fueron felices en esos instantes, eso me motiva a mí a continuar y a ser feliz también. Gracias a todos los que leen y apoyan mis publicaciones para Hive, me hace feliz que me acompañes aquí también, y espero que termines muy bien la semana. Abrazos!!!
