Hi my loving Hivers,

Greetings! I'm here again with another beautiful walk where I walked through Wanduramba city which is very close to Mapalagama city. What's up guys? I really believe that you are doing well right now and spending beautiful day. On Wednesday morning, heavy rains began to fall around my area, and it ended in about an hour. Without rain, even the wells were running low, making it difficult for crops to grow. My farming activities were also hampered by the lack of rain, so it was a good thing that I got some rain. I woke up early and had breakfast to complete my walk on Wednesday. Walking is actually a beautiful activity because we can add more value through it.

My daughter and I left for my wife's parents' house last night to drop off my daughter. Since my wife's parents' family members were scheduled to visit Kataragama in two days, I dropped off my daughter. So I stayed there last night and this morning I took a walk around the beautiful town of Wanduramba. After passing Gonadeni, we came to a three-way junction. If we went south, we could go to Mapalagama via Nagoda, and we chose the left road to walk towards Wanduramba. This junction is special because a small Buddha hut was built under the shade of a Bo tree for worship.

As I approached the town of Wanduramba, I saw a beautiful paddy field shining with green. I stopped here for a few minutes and looked around. About a decade ago, this must have been completely covered with paddy fields. With urbanization, these beautiful lands are being reclaimed and destroyed for roads and industries. It is also comforting that an ecosystem is still preserved in this way.

I slowly approached Wanduramba town. Not many people were seen there. Some shops were not open because it was early in the morning. Only four vehicles were seen filling up at the gas station. At first glance, it looked like a holiday. You can see that Wanduramba town is not a very big town. Only people from four villages spread out in all directions live here. Only a limited number of buses were used to travel to those villages.

Yes, I stopped at the main bus stand in Wadduwa on my way to Indira. There were many children going to tuition classes at the bus stand, but not many adults. The shops were also empty, like the main road. It was surprising that there were not many people there even though it was a Wednesday. Wadduwa Maha Vidyalaya was also empty due to the school holidays. Although there were plans to build a stadium in Wadduwa some time ago, it does not seem to be happening now.

As we passed through Wanduramba town and continued on the Galle Road, the sun was shining brightly. Walking on the carpeted road was also difficult because the sunlight reflected off the road into my eyes. In fact, when people walk on such roads, beautiful feelings flow into the mind. Honestly, it is so much that negative thoughts do not flow.

After walking 1.5 kilometers from the city in the scorching sun, we came across a mountainous area. From there, we could see beautiful views of the mountain ranges in the distance. In addition to the mountains, various crops cultivated in the area were also clearly visible from this place. Many beautiful landscapes could be seen with our living eyes.
