Without a doubt, every city in this world has its own appeal and its own visual universe. It's a harmony of images intertwined with architecture and in contrast with nature. And of course, for a city like Puerto Ordaz, that contrast cannot be missing, that blend of everything that makes up this metropolis with its nature, a bit of that flora and fauna that still exist in this city.
That was my tour this Wednesday: clear skies, radiant sunshine, and high temperatures, but ultimately worth every meter spent in this city. There are always surprises in the images that catch my eye, in addition to contrasting with the twilight light of the sunset, which falls on the city, ending the routine between the chaos and dynamics of this place.
Perhaps the sensation I get when I walk through this city could be the same as anywhere else in the world. It's like feeling the energy of everything moving, the people, the animals, the traffic, and everything else. At least in my case, it wakes me up and I can explore every corner more.
At the end of the day, it was a bit tiring, but it was all worth it. Beyond the exhaustion one may experience from the intense sun or those long walks through the streets and avenues, in the end, one enjoys seeing the results. On the one hand, the physical activity involved, which can be healthy, but also emotionally, and of course, in the sense of appreciating the activity of photography, which is the goal of this activity.
All photographs are my own.
