Hi all, The picture I chose as a reference for this new painting was actually of a cool tone which tint a slight towards some blue - violet colour region. But as I named it sunny day, I wanted it in a warm look. So I used more reddish colours while painting it.

Here is my painting for today.🌺

also included some pictures of the drawing process so you guys will have a good view of how I made it

This one I finished in three steps. Firstly I used a black ball point pen to make a basic sketch which looks similar to the reference picture. It took me 20 -30 minutes to complete this part. I used no methode other than direct sketching for this primary part.

In this step I used normal water to wet the paper. And when it started drying, I used some minimal colours and painted the background first. By the time it almost got dry and then I washed all the canvas with specific colours accordingly.

Here comes the third and the final part. I switched into more contrasty colours to create some saturated looks. Used darker versions of previously used colours to create appropriate shadows on foldings of cloths, depths of face and on the hairs.
