Hello, Hiver friends and fellow art enthusiasts! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I want to share my latest artwork painted with coffee powder.
It's been a while since I did a coffee painting. Today, I decided to create a much bigger one than I did before. This piece of art is a mountain landscape that can be seen in the background, which ascends majestically.
The rich browns and delicate contrast create a unique warmth and depth. In the foreground, a soothing lake, and the evergreen trees silhouetted by the dark. The final outcome of this piece evokes a sense of peace and serenity.
Materials Needed:
๐ Watercolor Paper, sketching Paper, or stretched canvas
๐ Pencil and Eraser
๐ Coffee Powder
๐ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
๐ Ruler
๐ Clean Water
๐ Rag
๐ Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
๐ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
๐ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
๐ Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
โข Outline or sketch your painting reference.
โข Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
โข On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
โข The same procedure as the foreground.
โข Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
โข Then add details to bring your painting to life. I used a liner brush for the thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
Painting Process:
This is the finished coffee painting
That's all for today. I hope I have inspired you with this simple art using a unique painting style. Thank you for stopping by, and God bless, Hiver friends! Happy Painting!
Thank you for your continued support of my art.
