Hello my dear all friends. How are you doing today? Is everything okay? I am doing very fine. It was a nice day for me. I didn’t make any plans to got out like what I usually do. You know, I usually visit my relatives or hand out with my friends and having fun on this day but now I just wanted to relax and take some time alone and focus on myself, career, art and making plans for my next days and weeks. I wanted to see what I have done until now and see the results and plan what I should do for future. You know, I have been a little disappointed about my routine and achievements so I thought I should try more. Do you also make plans? And do according to that? I am a very good planner but it’s sometimes very hard to stick to every part of it because you know, unpredictables always happen. And to be honest, I’m not a good mood and it feels somehow unimportant to me.
But this time I decided to stick to it no matter what! Even if I fail a day, I am not going to stop. I will continue to do better the other day because just like anything else, planning and commitment to it requires practice. Back then, I got disappointed in me easily but now I just want to have faith in myself and trust one more time.
I think I talked too much, I’m not really like this! I don’t know, I just want to share my experiences and thoughts so anyone who is like me feels better and continue. For now, let me tell you what I have prepared for this week’s splinterlands art contest. I am kind of proud of what I have made and I was very excited to share it with you all. Through the whole week I had this in my mind to draw one of the fire cards and among all the cards I saw a card which was named flame mephit. I drew this card before but for this fan art I wanted to draw the body to and draw a fine gesture with a fiery hair and body and the fire she holds and controls with her hands that is why I selected this card.
To paint her body, I painted with dark brown and light pink. What I had in my mind was to not make her skin look too dark or too light. Then colored the golden part of her dress. colored her golden hair and fiery body with fire colors and kept the details for later. Colored her dress and with my fav brush drew some details in her hands fiery body. After I was done with the character, I drew the fire she holds in her hands and I tried to design it like the fire in the card.
I felt that that the background looked too empty, I didn’t want something very big, shiny or too messy because the character is very shiny with the fire so to make it be somehow look cool I drew the red lines on the background of the flame mephit.
