Hi friends, about a year ago, I started playing chess on my phone on the Chess.com platform. I've always liked this game, but I had never really played it seriously by learning things like openings, the value of the pieces, and recognizing board patterns that are to my benefit or that I know are losing positions for me. I'm currently 1000 in 10-minute games and 600 in 3-minute games. It's not much, but it's enough to enjoy the game and have a relatively good learning curve.
I wanted to start this series of drawing pieces from the game as if they were fantasy characters. I started with the white pawn, the piece with the most potential of all in the endgame since it can be promoted to any of the other pieces. It's common for it to be promoted to the queen since it's the most powerful piece on the board, except for specific situations where promoting to a piece of lesser value than the queen, like a knight, is done to check the black king and avoid a stalemate.
This is "Pawn," the first line of attack on the battlefield. It can start by moving 2 squares, always forward, and it captures diagonally forward. It is the only piece with a special move, en passant. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos, desde hace aproximadamente un año empece a jugar ajedrez en mi telefono en la plataforma de Chess.com, este juego siempre me ha gustado pero nunca lo habia jugado como tal de aprender aperturas, el valor de las piezas, reconocer patrones en el tablero que sean para mi beneficio o que yo sepa que son posiciones perdedoras para mi, actualmente soy 1000 en partidas de 10 minutos y 600 en partidas de 3 minutos, no es mucho pero es suficiente para disfrutar el juego y tener una curva de aprendizaje relativamente bien. quise empezar esta seria de dibujar piezas de este juego como si fueran personajes fantasticos, empece por el peon blanco, la pieza con mas potencial de todas en el endgame ya que puede promoverse a cualquiera de las otras piezas pero lo comun es que sea promovida a la reina ya que es la pieza mas poderosa del tablero salvo en excepciones en la que promover a una pieza de menor valor que la reina, como a un caballo para poner en jaque al rey negro y evitar ahogarlo.
Este es "Pawn" la primera linea de ataque en el campo de batalla. puede empezar moviendo 2 casillas, siempre hacia adelante y ataca en diagonal al frente y es la unica pieza con un movimiento especial, ataque al paso. espero les guste
