A Man Ray (un ejercicio en prosa) (Esp | En)

El gran artista visual franco-estadounidense Man Ray nació el 27 de agosto de1890. Fue pintor y un gran renovador de la fotografía y el cine, a partir de su visión vanguardista, entre Dadá y el surrealismo. Pensando en rendirle un modesto tributo, escribí este ejercicio en prosa.

¿Qué será de esta realidad tan artificial, cómo nombrarla y aprehenderla? Me hubiera gustado que estuvieras ahora y nos ayudaras a entender esta inabarcable novedad, tú que fuiste tan innovador y único. ¿Será que sobreviviremos a tanta hiperrealidad o a sus simulacros? ¿Seguiremos existiendo pese a su omnipotente efecto? Cuando despierto cada día, y descubro la luz y el canto único de las aves, quisiera acoger la vida como un inaplazable momento eterno.

To Man Ray (an exercise in prose)

The great French-American visual artist Man Ray was born on August 27, 1890. He was a painter and a great innovator in photography and cinema, based on his avant-garde vision, between Dada and Surrealism. Thinking of paying him a modest tribute, I wrote this exercise in prose.

>What will become of this artificial reality, how can we name it? I wish you were here now to help us understand this unfathomable novelty, you who were so innovative and unique. > >Will we survive so much hyperreality or its simulacrums? Will we continue to exist despite its omnipotent effect? > >When I wake up every day and discover the light and the unique song of the birds, I want to embrace life as an urgent eternal moment.
