Hola, chicos, estuve perdida esta semana, pero acá yo de nuevo jeje.
Hi, guys, I was away this week, but here I am again, hehe.
Como dice el título de este post, esta vez se trata de mi primera vez recorriendo Venezuela en moto, hasta la playa. Fue un recorrido desafiante, fueron muchas horas de camino que se venían en esta ruta, así que trate de irme lo más equipada posible.
As the title of this post suggests, this time it's about my first trip through Venezuela on a motorcycle, all the way to the beach. It was a challenging journey, with many hours of driving ahead of me on this route, so I tried to be as well-equipped as possible.
Días antes del viaje, le hice un chequeo a la moto para asegurarme de que todo iba en orden, le compre algunos repuestos, e hice cambio de aceite. Recuerden chicos que siempre deben tratar de ser lo más precavido en la vida para asegurarte de estar bien y no tener ningún inconveniente mientras viajes.
A few days before the trip, I checked the motorcycle to make sure everything was in order, bought some spare parts, and changed the oil. Remember, guys, you should always try to be as cautious as possible in life to make sure you're okay and don't have any problems while traveling.---

También recargamos combustible antes de salir y nos dirigimos a casa a descansar para levantarnos a las 4 am del viernes para partir al destino. En la madrugada fue loco, hacía mucho frío, pero empezamos a subir por la ruta, manejamos cierto tramo de la ruta ya siendo de noche, y al amanecer nos detuvimos a desayunar, compramos unas empanadas muy ricas por cierto jeje descansamos y empezamos ese camino para mi duro, porque era la primera vez.
We also refueled before leaving and headed home to rest so we could get up at 4 a.m. on Friday to depart for our destination. The early morning was crazy, it was very cold, but we started to climb the road, driving a certain stretch of the road at night, and at dawn we stopped for breakfast, bought some very tasty empanadas, by the way, haha, rested, and started that road, which was hard for me because it was my first time.---

Continuando por la carretera, el camino a San Carlos se me pareció muy largo, bastantes horas y pasaba yo en el mismo sitio jeje.
Continuing along the highway, the road to San Carlos seemed very long to me, quite a few hours, and I was passing by the same place, hehe.---

Por el camino también me encontré con una especie de túnel de un poco de pánico la verdad porque estaba muy brillante fuera y si entrabas con el casco sellado te podrían encandilar, entonces tuve que bajar un poco la velocidad para poder andar, pero el sonido dentro del túnel es muy fuerte me perturbo un poquito.
On the way, I also came across a kind of tunnel, which was a bit scary to be honest, because it was very bright outside and if you went in with your helmet sealed, you could be dazzled, so I had to slow down a bit to be able to ride, but the sound inside the tunnel is very loud and it disturbed me a little.---

Luego, al llegar o empezar a subir algunas montañas llegamos a Maracay. Después de que nos cayeran ciertos aguaceros en la vía, pudimos llegar hasta allí y decidimos ir a almorzar, ya que era bastante tarde. Nos retrasamos mucho por cuestión de la lluvia y la carretera, con decirles que nuestro viaje en total demoro (13 horas de ida).
Then, after arriving or starting to climb some mountains, we reached Maracay. After getting caught in some heavy rain on the road, we managed to get there and decided to go for lunch, as it was quite late. We were delayed a lot because of the rain and the road conditions, and I can tell you that our trip took a total of 13 hours each way.---

Nos detuvimos en un lugar bien lindo, chévere. Comimos pollo asado con ensalada de yuca y bollitos, muy rico, una excelente atención, gente muy bonita. Luego de allí recargamos combustible nuevamente y nos fuimos vía hacia el Parque Nacional Henri Pittier, en donde se encuentra todo esto de la zona de Ocumare de la Costa, en el estado Aragua, Venezuela, pasamos por Vía de Cata y Cuyagua.
We stopped at a really nice place. We had roast chicken with cassava salad and bread rolls, which was delicious, and the service was excellent, with very friendly staff. After that, we refueled again and headed for Henri Pittier National Park, where all this is located in the Ocumare de la Costa area, in the state of Aragua, Venezuela. We passed through Vía de Cata and Cuyagua.---
Empezando a subir a lo que es Ocumare de la Costa, son montañas hermosísimas, por cierto. Total, vegetación, muy fresco. Y por supuesto nos llovió todo el camino por esa vía superempinada y con curvas peligrosas. Estaba muy asustada de manejar.
Starting to climb up to Ocumare de la Costa, the mountains are beautiful, by the way. Lots of vegetation, very cool. And of course, it rained the whole way along that super steep road with dangerous curves. I was very scared to drive.---

Como les dije, yo no había manejado tanto tiempo durante tantas horas en un mismo día. Y fue un poco cansado también. Me sentí bastante agotada, no les puedo mentir. Pero sí, muchos lugares me levantaron el ánimo, me apoyaron a seguir adelante. Y pude seguir manejando.
As I mentioned, I had never driven for so many hours in a single day. And it was a bit tiring too. I felt quite exhausted, I can't lie to you. But yes, many places lifted my spirits and encouraged me to keep going. And I was able to continue driving.---

Ya llegando a Ocumare, vimos algunas casitas muy coloridas, paredes con murales espectaculares. La vía a Cuyagua es bastante difícil, tiene muchas curvas, el camino es muy angosto y está un poco dañada la carretera, les recomiendo andar con cuidado, demoramos mucho por cuestión vial, pero llegamos a Cuyagua y pues en todo el camino vi ese esplendoroso mar, sorprendida de tanta grandeza parecía de otro planeta.
As we approached Ocumare, we saw some very colorful houses with spectacular murals on the walls. The road to Cuyagua is quite difficult, with many curves, very narrow lanes, and some damage to the pavement. I recommend driving carefully. We took a long time due to the road conditions, but we finally arrived in Cuyagua. All along the way, I saw the magnificent sea, and I was amazed by its grandeur; it seemed like another planet.---

Al llegar, nos costó bastante encontrar un lugar en donde poder estacionar las motos, como era fin de semana estaba full, mucha gente, muchos lugares apartados, la entrada para la playa por moto vale 2 $, para carro vale 5 $, pero te puedes quedar allí el tiempo que tú quieras, con tu carpa, si tienes comida puedes ir a cocinar, también existen algunos restaurantes que te dan opciones bastante económicas.
When we arrived, it was quite difficult to find a place to park our motorcycles. Since it was the weekend, it was crowded, with many people and many remote locations. The entrance fee to the beach is $2 for motorcycles and $5 for cars, but you can stay there as long as you want with your tent. If you have food, you can go cook, and there are also some restaurants that offer fairly inexpensive options.---

En Cuyagua ves de todo, carpas normales, carpas que parecen sacadas de Tomorrowland, carpas con aire acondicionado y mucho más, todo es muy loco, ves todo tipo de gente, toda muy agradable. Hay mucha confianza entre toda la gente que va allá, todo es muy seguro.
In Cuyagua, you see everything: normal tents, tents that look like they came straight out of Tomorrowland, air-conditioned tents, and much more. It's all very crazy. You see all kinds of people, all of whom are very nice. There is a lot of trust among everyone who goes there, and it's all very safe.---
En esta playa de los surfistas aprovechamos y pudimos ver el atardecer mientras nos bañamos, disfrutamos de lo que es el bello color del naranja y amarillo sobre el azul del mar, es hermoso…
At this surfers' beach, we took advantage of the opportunity to watch the sunset while we swam, enjoying the beautiful orange and yellow colors against the blue of the sea. It was gorgeous...---
