Staycation At Five Star Hotel JW Marriot

###### *A combination of luxurious facilities, with the perfect city view bonus for spending time just at the hotel.*  --- For me, hotels are special for rewarding myself. That's why I always look for hotels that have facilities that can pamper me. Especially for staycation purposes.  Once a year I look for a 4-star or 5-star hotel that has good facilities in it. That's not easy, especially for a budget that isn't too excessive. I'm still thinking about a reasonable price to keep my finances stable.  Of course, this is different if I am traveling and need a hotel just to stay overnight and rest for a while before going on the next trip again. Meanwhile, for staycations, I am more selective, especially in my province which doesn't offer many choices for hotels with the best facilities. In Indonesia, there is the Marriott Bonvoy Group, especially **JW Marriott Hotel** which is spread across big cities in Indonesia. This is my second visit to **JW Marriott Hotel** for a staycation.  This second time, I took a different type of room than before. Of course, we need different experiences, right?  So, for this staycation, I chose. *Executive Room* at **JW Marriott Hotel**. let. Come on, I'll take you on a tour to see the **JW Marriott Hotel** from my view. --- ## Executive Room  Like the highest position in a company, it is named *Executive Room* because this room is the highest type at the **JW Marriott Hotel** whose (perhaps) facilities will make us feel like bosses in one day. :)  Feeling like a boss? Yuppp! Sometimes I feel like I just want to enjoy life like a boss amidst a life that is messy and full of life's struggles. That's not selfish, right? We have many ways to feel *like a boss* to raise our energy and self-confidence again.   The *Executive Room* at **JW Marriott Hotel** is on the 25th floor of the building! Crazy! I think this is the first time I've stayed in a building this tall. As for the room area, it is twice as large as the general room {deluxe room) version. What's special about the *Executive Room*? on the side walls of the room, (the area beside the bed and behind the bed{ are all glass walls. Meanwhile, in the general room version, there are only fewer walls made of glass. --- **AMAZING CITY VIEW FROM LARGE ROOM**  The side walls of the rooms are completely glass so we can see the beautiful city view clearly. While lying lazily in bed, we can see the beautiful city view in the distance. Whoaaa! I feel very happy.   But the most important thing is that I feel at peace being here. That's because I like city views, especially at dusk. It's like an amazing time to see how beautiful the universe is, and we just need to stop for a moment from our busy lives.  Right next to the glass wall, there is also a long sofa for relaxing and enjoying the city view. While drinking tea, coffee, or, wine for those of you who drink alcohol. Apart from a TV and work desk, this type of room also provides a refrigerator, hair dryer, and drinking water heater facilities. In the cabinet under the TV, beautiful glass wine bottles are also provided. ---  The room feels warm with natural lighting as well as additional lighting in this room. I took the pictures around 5 pm. Meanwhile, I don't have any photos of the sunset because I was busy soaking in the bath and was too lazy to get up to take my phone to just take a picture. Better to enjoy the sunset just by myself at that time. :) We can see that this type of room the *Executive Room* feels very spacious. I feel like I could even play tennis or badminton in this room. Ehehehehe. Well, this type of proposal is very suitable for family vacations. In several photos on the website that I saw, several families asked the hotel to add games or camping tents for children in this room. It's the perfect choice for a staycation with family. :) --- **BATHUB WITH CITY VIEW**   Another special thing at **JW Marriott Hotel** is the bathroom which has a bathtub with a city view. In other types of rooms, the bathroom only has a bathtub which does not have glass walls.  The glass wall next to the bathtub makes us feel even more relaxed. Soak in the bath while enjoying the beautiful city view. The bathtub is not attached to the glass wall so we still have free space to see a wider view.  The bathtub in this room is made from natural stone material in the shape of a bathtub with quite wide edges throughout. So, we can put drinks or cellphones on the side of the bathtub without fear of falling.   The glass walls have electric blinds that are operated using a remote control. I feel excited to play with the remote control. It felt so nice to be able to see the curtain wall coverings rise and fall. Ehehe.  --- ## EVENING TREATS In the type of *Executive Room* that I booked, I was entitled to evening treats at the hotel restaurant. Meanwhile, for the general room, we cannot get this special treat but only breakfast.  They call these treats executive snacks. But I agree that it was called dinner because I felt very full at that time! How could it not be, there are many choices of pastries, sandwiches, pasta with small plate portions, and pastries. We can also ask for the drinks we want, from juices, tea, coffee, and even alcoholic drinks. So many treats we can enjoy that can make us feel like a boss overnight. In fact, I really like how the waiters there really serve their customers. I feel really like a lady boss. I do not lie. Well, I couldn't take a picture of the entire venue to appreciate the people around me. I just took photos of the food and drinks I chose at my table. I chose several types of small portions of pasta, as well as sandwiches and some cakes (which are not visible in this picture). also, a glass of apple juice and, a cup of cappuccino. What a perfect treat! I don't think I want to go home. :D --- ## MORNING VIEW   For this blog, I didn't share breakfast because I deliberately saved my phone. I just want breakfast in peace. No phone, no distractions. on the other hand, I just feel reluctant to the people there if I take photos inside the restaurant. :) One thing is certain, they have a breakfast buffet with a varied and delicious menu. Starting from local food, or western food. We can enjoy delicious breakfast from 6 am to 10 am. ---  Before continuing the tour to the swimming pool, I asked to be served a cup of latte after my breakfast. Before morning. The restaurant was starting to get quiet and I was enjoying my delicious cup of coffee. What a beautiful life. Because this is a five-star hotel, I can get the delicious coffee taste as well as beautiful latte art like in cafes. It didn't disappoint. --- ## SWIMMING POOL  The power of weekdays. I can enjoy the hotel facilities as if it were my own. The atmosphere looks quiet here because it's not holiday time. I do staycations when people's vacation time is over. :)  I can enjoy the swimming pool with the infinity pool concept. It was still foggy that morning, so the sky didn't look very blue. If the sky is bright blue then it will make the view even more beautiful.   I didn't swim at that time. In fact, I'm still afraid to swim right now. So, I just relax on a lounge chair next to the swimming pool.  At night, the area beside the swimming pool will function as a romantic restaurant. We can enjoy the beautiful night view of the city view from the 17th floor. :) --- Meanwhile, for children, a separate swimming pool area is provided so it is safer. The children's pool area is also quite large but does not have an infinity pool concept for safety reasons. ---   I relaxed for half an hour in this area while thinking about many things for my personal growth. Strategies that I have to do in the future to make my life better. And, more. Then, before checking out, I used the bathtub again. ---  Whooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I feel like I was born again. What a beautiful experience in this five-star hotel, with the executive room. I really like a lady boss!
