This space not only preserves historical pieces but also transports you to different key moments of the city. There, I learned that Puerto Cabello played a very important role during colonial times and in the independence processes, as it was a strategic port both for trade and battles. In addition, inside the museum there is a spectacular viewpoint from where you can see the immensity of the sea and much of the city. Without a doubt, it’s a perfect place to take photos and enjoy the sea breeze. > Más adelante llegamos al Museo de Puerto Cabello, otro sitio que definitivamente recomiendo. Este espacio no solo guarda piezas históricas, sino que también nos transporta a distintos momentos claves de la ciudad. Allí aprendí que Puerto Cabello tuvo un papel muy importante durante la época colonial y en los procesos de independencia, pues era un puerto estratégico tanto para el comercio como para las batallas. Además, dentro del museo hay un mirador espectacular, desde donde se puede ver la inmensidad del mar y buena parte de la ciudad. So we decided to end the day at Playa Delfín, one of the most popular beaches in Puerto Cabello. From the moment we arrived, I loved it—it’s spacious, with light sand and very pleasant waters. What surprised me the most was a kind of “natural pool” built within the beach, making it perfect for swimming calmly, even for those who don’t feel very confident in the open sea. Another plus is that it’s pet-friendly, which I thought was great because many people bring their pets to enjoy the beach. At Playa Delfín, we spent a wonderful time walking along the shore, taking pictures, and of course, enjoying the water. I loved the vibe of the place: families spending the day together, friends playing in the sand, and that relaxed atmosphere that only a Venezuelan beach can give you. By the end of the day, as I watched the sunset over the Caribbean Sea, I understood why Puerto Cabello conquers everyone who visits. It’s a city that perfectly combines history, culture, and natural beauty. From its churches and museums to its lively beaches, every corner has something special to share. This trip was truly an unforgettable experience. Puerto Cabello not only gave me spectacular landscapes and fun moments, but also a little piece of history that I now carry with me. Así que decidimos cerrar el día en Playa Delfín, una de las más conocidas de Puerto Cabello. Desde que llegamos me encantó, ya que es amplia, con arena clara y aguas muy agradables. Lo que más me sorprendió fue una especie de “piscina natural” construida dentro de la playa, que hace que sea perfecta para bañarse tranquilamente, incluso para quienes no se sienten tan seguros en mar abierto.
