Can you imagine how they built a place like this out of just stone, sand, and cement? Stacking several stones together to create a magnificent and truly enormous temple. The area is like a city within a city. That's why talking about Angkor Wat is like discuss something so complex.
It was a really good experience. I even want to spend a lot of time explore here. But unfortunately, we only have one day to explore the magnificent Angkor Wat temple complex with rent a tuk-tuk, a signature Cambodian vehicle specialty.

One of our destinations was the Ancient Capital of Cambodia: Angkor Thom. So, central Angkor Thom consists of many temples that are relics of the ancient Khmer Empire, even much older than the Angkor Wat we know.
Angkor Thom has its own area and even has a gate that must be passed before entering. The fence is huge, like an archway, with a clearly visible image of Buddha's face. How did they create a silhouette of a face with stone and sand on top? Its truly fascinating to explore further.

We took photos on a tuk-tuk right in front of the main gate of Angkor Thom. The rows of Buddha statues is truly captivating. I can't even put it into words, because it an unforgettable experience and one I've ever had. It was like watching a chapter in a history book from my high school days.

We passed several temples without getting off the tuk-tuk, following the directions of our very friendly tuk-tuk driver. The facilities were excellent, and they took us to our destinations very quickly. I was even offered a drink, as you know, Siem Reap is a city with quite hot weather. But for some reason, every time we were at the temple, it felt cool, perhaps because it was surrounded by jungle. However, never try to drive in the morning without a jacket. That's very wise advice from me.
With a single Angkor Wat pass, you'll have access to the entire Angkor Wat area, including Angkor Thom. Unfortunately, one day isn't even enough to visit all the temples. You can also get a three-day pass, which allows you to go anywhere and perhaps even ride a bike. Many people do this, but it requires a lot of energy.

I just took a tuk-tuk, and the interesting thing was that I was able to chat with the driver, and he gave me quite a bit of interesting information about the temples, relics of the Khmer Empire, which date back hundreds of years.

Hi! Let me introduce myself, its me Wita.
I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
I'm usually very interested in new things. Let me be creative with at least these writings. I welcome any suggestions, as long as you mention them politely in the comments section. We can have a free discussion every now and then.
Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I hope we continue to work together to build this Hive community.
