Hi beautiful people of the @worldmappin Fam! How was your weekend going? I am here again to share my island adventure this time with my boyfriend. Expect to see lovely pictures and a very scenic view of the island. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and let’s start the adventure!

Palawan is considered one of the 7 wonders of nature in the Philippines. I’ve always wanted to visit this island but I never get the chance to do it. But God has really a perfect timing, finally I get to see the beauty of the island with my favorite person. It was full of excitement and adventure for us since this was our first time here.

This was Coron Soleil Hotel. The place where we stayed while exploring the area. We also rented a motorcycle here to go around the city which was the most people do when visiting.

Our first destination was Coron. You might be wondering why I said first, right? It is because we also visited El Nido but that adventure will be shared on my next blog! 😉 So stay tuned! So back in our sweet escape, we rented a private boat for an island hopping. If my memory serves me right I think this cost only around Php 5,000. The inclusions were 4-5 islands, a tour guide and freshly cooked food with fruits which they prepared while sailing from one island to another. In all fairness, they cooked good. Moving on to our adventure, the first island we visited is called Baracuda Lake. It was a perfect time when we get there because there’s not a lot of people around. We climbed up the wooden stairs going to the lake. This lake has striking limestone cliffs and deep blue water. We dipped into the water which was a bit cold. We even got to see how deep the water was using our gaggles. It was so peaceful and while swimming you could feel the dramatic scene of this lake with chirping birds too. We stayed here for about 5 minutes.

Our next stop was the Kayangan Lake. I can’t remember how many steps it was but I got so tired climbing up until we get to the top. I think I am just getting old. 😂 But kidding aside, the view here was breath taking too. We dipped in to the water for a short while, I didn't really feel like swimming much here so we didn’t stay long, maybe less than 5 minutes.

The next one we visited was the Twin Lagoon. The water here was perfect-crystal clear! We sailed around with kayak to see the beauty of this lagoon. The limestone cliffs were stunning. People can swim and feel the mixture of warm saltwater and cool fresh water. We enjoyed the amazing view here. Perfect for photography and those people who wanted to do snorkeling. It was so quiet, calm and peaceful. Our voices echoed in this lagoon! People from the other side of the lagoon were shouting as they jump into the crystal clear water. We also took countless photos, kayaked around the lagoon and enjoyed swimming. This definitely captured our hearts.

Our island hopping adventure in Coron was truly magical! We shared laughter under the sun, captured memorable photos and explored the stunning beauty of the islands. Our favorite of all was the Twin Lagoon. It felt so surreal! This is definitely one of the hidden gems the Philippines should be proud of. The country is truly rich in natural beauty. I hope we continue taking care of our Mother Earth. Coron is wonderful, the Philippines is truly a paradise.

This trip was so special to me because I got to share and experience it with my sweet love. Very cliché as it sounds but you will never understand it until you experience it for yourself. This trip is one of the best memories to keep and we will always cherish. Coron took our breathe away!
