Good evening, Hivers friends. Today I want to share with you the end of this great adventure through the Tatacoa Desert. After several days exploring these magical landscapes and feeling the energy of Huila, it was time to head back home.
It was 5 a.m. when we left Villavieja, with the sky still covered with stars and the fresh air of dawn. The first challenge of the day was to cross the majestic Magdalena River, boarding the ferry that took us to the municipality of Aipe. Seeing how the sunlight began to reflect on the water was simply magical, as if the river was bidding us farewell with one last embrace of the journey.
The return trip was as inspiring as the outward journey. With every kilometer, the landscape changed and gave us new postcard views: mountains stretching to the horizon, wide valleys, and towns steeped in history. We passed through incredible places like Cambao Cundinamarca, where we stopped for a while to eat something, fill up the bikes, and rest a bit. where I tried a fried dish called carimañola, Cundinamarca style, which was delicious. We then continued on until we reached Espinal, La Dorada Caldas, and stopped for lunch in Puerto Libre, where we were already closer to home. There, I closed my eyes for 15 minutes and then we continued on, passing through Puerto Triunfo, right in front of the iconic Hacienda Nápoles. Later, we crossed San Luis and Rio Claro, one of the clearest rivers in Antioquia, which marked our proximity to home, but with our hearts still full of adventure and the road ahead.
We continued on until we passed the Sanctuary, Marinilla, and just after Guarne and before the toll booth, I stopped to eat pandequeso with chocolate, and I took the opportunity to buy some to take home to my family.
Once home, I hugged them, gave them the little things I had brought them, and took a shower to go to bed, a little tired but very happy to have completed this great trip at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Buenas noches amigos hivers, hoy quiero compartirles el cierre de esta gran aventura por el desierto de la Tatacoa. Después de varios días explorando esos paisajes mágicos y sintiendo la energía del Huila, llegó la hora de emprender el regreso a casa.
Eran las 5 de la mañana cuando salimos desde Villavieja, aún con el cielo cubierto de estrellas y el aire fresco del amanecer. El primer reto del día fue cruzar el majestuoso río Magdalena, abordando el ferry que nos llevó hasta el municipio de Aipe. Ver cómo la luz del sol empezaba a reflejarse sobre el agua fue simplemente mágico, como si el río nos despidiera con un último abrazo de viaje.
El camino de regreso fue una experiencia tan inspiradora como la ida. A cada kilómetro, el paisaje cambiaba y nos regalaba nuevas postales: montañas que se perdían en el horizonte, valles amplios y pueblos llenos de historia. Pasamos por lugares increíbles como Cambao Cundinamarca, en el cual paramos un buen rato para comer algo, tanquear las motos y descansar un poco, allí probé un frito llamado carimañola al estilo de cundinamarca y estaba muy delicioso, luego continuamos hasta llegar al a Espinal, La Dorada Caldas, y paramos para almorzar en Puerto Libre dónde ya estabamos más cerca de casa, allí cerré mis ojos 15 minutos y luego continuamos pasando por Puerto Triunfo, justo frente a la emblemática Hacienda Nápoles. Más adelante, cruzamos por San Luis y rio claro, uno de los ríos más cristalino de Antioquia que marcaba mucho más la cercanía a casa, pero con el corazón aún lleno de ruta y aventura.
Continuamos hasta pasar por el Santuario, Marinilla y justo después de Guarne y antes del peaje pare a comer pandequeso con chocolate, aproveche y compré para llevarle a mi familia.
Ya estando en casa los abrace, les entregué las cositas que les traje y me duche para ir a descansar, un poco cansado y muy contento por haber culminado este grandioso viaje aproximadamente a las 8:30 de la noche.
