One of the things I always do on a trip to Cornwall is a lunch at the Tinners Arms in Zennor. IMG_2708.jpeg

The road there is really narrow and twisty but that’s Cornwall for you. It’s a great pub but the main reason is the amazing crab sandwiches they really are the best. IMG_1466.jpeg

After lunch this year the weather was so nice it was decided to take a walk out to Zennor Head. It’s not far probably only about a kilometre or so and the first part is on the road so nothing really strenuous but it does aid the digestion. IMG_1468.jpeg

The views are amazing. IMG_1470.jpeg

We also had a chat with an artist and not the holiday watercolour sketchy sort this was a huge canvas and oils. He told us that it had taken him 5 trips to carry all his gear out but the biggest problem he was having was the wind buffeting the canvas IMG_1471.jpeg Zennor Head has some really interesting granite features such as this wonderful window. Close up its even more spectacular. IMG_1483.jpeg

According to the plaque this part of the coastal path was donated to the National Trust in the early 50s. IMG_1484.jpeg

So Hivers as I said it’s not a long walk but once off the road the path is a bit rough and just the right length to walk off a crab sandwich.
