# Vacation feels like a food cravings where you wanted to have a specific experience to try and that is why for today’s blog, I am going to share my vacation cravings which is to visit a falls.
Beaches will always be my top choice in every vacation plan but as of this moment, I really wanted to recharged my energy in a flowing water. This place is called ***Mantayupan Falls*** located at Barili Cebu. And by the way, I really love how we always manage to look for a shortcut path going to certain place by just using google maps specially when we are entering small roads, it really makes our travel convenient and easy as long as we have our data connection on.
As per the travel time it take us 1hour and 30minutes to get there and to be honest the small roads are slightly a rough one since it is rocky and surrounded with lots of bushes but overall it is totally fine, I find it like an adventure trip. It was fun really. In this trip, I am with my husband and his cousins.
When we finally arrived to the place, I could already hear the sound of the flowing water and the place itself is cold with tall trees and you cannot see any stores near the falls and that makes it more beautiful because they really preserved the natural ambiance of the place. Another thing, what makes me more amazed is the entrance rate that is only 50.00 because I really thought much higher than that like 200 or something and to those who doesn’t know how to swim like me, you can rent a swimming vest for 50.00.
The Mantayupan falls has two levels but the upper one is the tallest and biggest falls compared to the other one but both are beautiful and breathtaking. Unfortunately, I was not able to take a picture of the hanging bridge but good thing my husband's cousin had one picture of it so I just asked her 😅 so basically it is bridge going to the upper level falls… I couldn’t explain the feeling but I was so afraid crossing the bridge because every step you take, the bridge is like shaking terribly but I know it is part of the fun. And I’m pretty sure that the hanging bridge is well-secured of course for the safety of everybody.

After crossing the bridge, we take the time to take a picture of the signage with the falls on the background. If you are a person who loves adventure and nature tripping … then this place is perfect for you. I can say, this is the type of energy that I really wanted to recharge because it feels like you are in another dimension where you can see a flowing water and surrounded with a massive mountain with long trees. So, my husband and his cousins immediately took the time to take a lots of pictures.
All throughout the day, we spend the whole time swimming and I really love it because the water is icy cold a cold that you can tolerate and it is so relaxing like it takes away the stress hormones and leaves you with the feeling of overflowing happiness. Well of course, we did not missed the opportunity to play around so my husband and his cousin Rey having fun diving and met some foreign nationals and have some short conversations. It was really fun and I’ll make sure soon, gonna visit this place again because this is way different to other travel destinations.
### Truly, I am satisfied with the vacation cravings that I am looking for. Before we left the place, I sat down quietly for awhile just to listen to the sound of flowing water and chirping birds… it is so relaxing like I don’t want to go home, I just wanted to stay longer. And I think, this could also be a perfect place to do yoga or meditation because you could only hear a natural music. This is something any person could have, something luxurious in a nature way. So yeah! Mantayupan Falls truly leaves a remarkable story in my life and I am happy that I able to share this with you my dear Hiver’s!
