The title above is not hyperbole in my opinion. We prove it with the fact that Angkor Wat was indeed designed so attractively from beginning to end. Fortunately, Angkor Wat was found even though it was abandoned. A large building in the middle of the forest, it is truly extraordinary beyond reason, isn't it?
Built from time to time by a Khmer Kingdom as a place of worship, living and even living for several dynasties, that's what makes Angkor Wat so meaningful. Currently, this sacred place has great hope for its followers. A real place as a courtyard for prayer.
The morning opens with seeing the sunrise, that is the art of the beauty of Angkor Wat. You can choose morning or evening, they are opposite each other but every time is so precious. Even though the morning is very cold to the bone, the morning wind did not shake my desire that had been nurtured since the beginning of 17 years to come here. Like a dream but now it has come true. Who would have thought that dream would become history in my life.
An old building whose strength cannot be compared to any other building in the world. Although old, it seems to have a very strong frame, even though it seems not only from its body but the body of this building is deeply rooted. So that even though it has been centuries, it has not been destroyed even though it has been eaten by time.
The carvings on each wall explain various histories about the glory days of the Khmer, how they carried out various activities shown from each side of the scratches, telling everything. It turns out that the absence of paper and pens in the past has a meaning, that they can carve history even though technology is not as sophisticated as it is now, but, that is what gives meaning to the word 'carving', because everything is really carved and retold.
That morning, even though it was a weekday, tourists came and not only that, the Buddhas who were praying also did their activities. Everyone took care of each other to continue to respect. Until now, Angkor Wat has become one of the wishlists for travelers to be able to visit, because of the impression of beauty that cannot be rejected by anything.
Angkor Wat is large enough to be explored, studied and also interpreted. Everything in Angkor Wat is full of meaning about a spiritual exploration. Nature and buildings created an extraordinary vibe at that time, for anyone who was in Angkor Wat at that time. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic even though the vastness of Angkor Wat would be very painful for all parts of the body, but everyone seemed not to give up on it. A struggle that is worth paying with 'worth to try' although I do not recommend it for those of you who have back pain.
It's worthy, even to teach yourself that it turns out that we are not the only ones living in this world.
