In my precious blog, I share my daughter's last adventure before school starts. Last Sunday, we had another hurrah of adventure before this school season officially starts. By the way, she's into 5th grade and time goes by so fast.
We decided to spend one last day of fun, rides and thrill together as a family. After weeks of preparing their things needed at school. So we wanted to have an adrenaline rush and we wanted to make the end of summer more special.
My husband decided we will go to Family Park in Austria. And what's more exciting, our Aya shouting for happiness. It's another family memory we will cherish forever.
He drove from home, passed to Hungary then Austria. It's a two hour drive and we started our trip by 7 am. Woke up early and ate our breakfast at home. Of course on our trip we have snacks and bottled later. Driving all the way to Family Park, revealed stunning architectural structures and landscape.
Fast forward, we finally arrived, the cheerful atmosphere immediately gave us a warm welcome because it has a lot of trees. Unlike other theme parks that are wide open and will have all the attractions. In Family Park its a lush greenery that helps for a shaded area with table and chairs and perfect cooling haven from the sun.
Aya was looking for a roller coaster and Táto said we will ride it how many times you like. And his teasing Aya that you're still a minor and his pointing on little kids' rides. But Aya really doesn't like it. Aya wants something thrilling and exciting right away.
For our first warm up ride it was a Fairy Tale carousel. It was nothing for the kids, no thrill butI saw them having fun and making jokes when the ride started.
The second stop was Dragon Cave. We all say it's nothing special and it's for kids. Once the dragon started to talk but it was not in English so I didn't even understand. But still we went to the dragon and suddenly he splashes water coming out from his nose. We got scared and screamed out loud.
We all laughed when we went outside. 😅
The third stop was Lightning of the gods. The kids and I went for a ride. And it was one of the famous rides that gave visitors an adrenaline rush and screaming out loud. Its fast twists and turns and the sound of the coaster's wheels on the tracks and the screams of fellow riders is the best experience.

And of course the wind whipped through our hair and we felt more alive. It is to ride all you can in whatever attractions in the park. And in the Lightning of gods I took rides and kids what can I expect, they want more and more. And we were waiting for them in the exit area.
The fourth stop was Roman Tower. But this time it's just the kids. I just took photos and videos of our kids and they described to me what they saw. They told me it was a gentle view, not thrill but the view from the top was breathtaking and they saw the view of the park and Austrian countryside.
The fifth ride was Leonard's Flying Machine. This one is a crazy ride for me. Flying high and you can control the wings and then spin around and around. I really didn't like it at first, but my husband insisted I would try it. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Kids telling me, let's go now and the line was crazy. Waiting patiently for our turn and experiencing the extreme thrill.

My husband videoed us when it was our turn. We were screaming and screaming out loud. But I didn't control the wings. I just hold on the side. Before our turn , I saw a man controlling his wings and spinning. But he was enjoying it a lot.
When we finished our turn. Another ride they wanted, just my husband and I were patiently waiting for them. I was all ok as long as they experienced it, have fun with thrill and excitement.
And now it's time for our lunch after all that excitement, it was time for a food break-our lunch.
There are lots of restaurants all around the park. So there are lots of choices too. Leonard's Flying Machine has a restaurant beside it, an Italian restaurant that serves delicious pizza, pasta and salad. We ordered two pizzas and two pastas for kids. And this time we paused and enjoyed our Italian food.
The next stop after our delicious Italian lunch was wandering to our next attraction . But the kids saw Flilippo’s Fair filled with game stalls. It's not only one stall and there's more around the park.
My husband initially told us, "Don't try it ok and it's expensive.” But we just stood there and watched. This was funny because when someone won and echoed in the air. My husband was so curious and tempted to play. Yes, we played the game.
10 euros for 4 balls and my husband was so confident and he will have 4 stuffed toys for us. But he lost, then another 10 euro and 2 each for the kids. But the kids were sad. And another chance for me, maybe I won. Yes, I won but only one ball.
In the game each ball we put on the hole count as a point and a prize. I want to try another one, but Zoe insists it's enough and it's all for Aya. And we thank her for the understanding.
Aya was so happy and carried her big win throughout our journey in the park.

The sixth ride was the splashing fun attraction named Beaver Lodge Zoe and I don't like to try it. Only Táto and Aya love the ride. This exciting attraction takes them on a thrilling journey. They will sit on the boat ride in a beautiful setting. First they go down, twist, climb up the lift hill and zooming down and twisting the water trail again. They are all having fun and their clothes are wet. We brought extra clothes even though the drying machine needs to pay 3 euro. The line was so long, Aya changed her clothes.
Seventh ride: Alpyodel.
We needed to rest but Aya was full of energy. She went alone and tried the Aplyodel. This thrill ride will zooming up heights and plunge down in shocking drops.
My Aya. It was just an ordinary ride. I even took photos of her putting a heart sign on her hands. And while the other lines are full, she tries again for the second time. It's ride all you want.
Eight Ride, still our Aya will not stop, the Apple Carousel. This ride makes you scream out loud and like flying in the sky. It goes up high and keeps on spinning. She doesn't feel dizzy and says “I love this ride mama, I want to try again.

For our ninth ride: A swing through the skies at the Azurko attraction. Swing high and feel the thrill with a cosmic twist that we felt with a sense of freedom. Soar through the air and spin at the same time.
The tenth ride was a colorful balloon that spins us on top named Balloon Carousel. Aya and I stepped into the vibrant Balloon Carousel and gently lifted off the ground and we felt floating on air.
It was a beautiful scenic view of the park , as we rotated. Honestly, I felt dizzy and from our previous rides that spinning too. This is for the whole family that brings a smile on their faces.
Our eleventh and magical ride was named Stellarium. It was not scary for us and the ride was just moving us, down and spinning. It's for kids and adults not afraid of heights. Ending our ride with a calm and seeing the scenic view of the park.
And our last ride before we go home. the Rat Mill roller coaster. It is family-friendly attraction that perfectly balances thrill and fun. It has a quirky design like a cartoon-style mill. The line was too long and we patiently wait for our turn. It was a wild thrill of twist, turns and sudden drops that everyone screams out with the laughter and shout. It was a an enjoyable ride that will wrapped up our last ride.
Family Park was filled with laughter, excitement and unforgettable moments.
At 5 pm we slowly made our way out to the family park and there's a souvenir shop and I bought a magnet. We were so grateful for the day we spent together.
I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the day we spent together. The laughter, thrills, adrenaline rush, good food, and the simple joys of watching our kids explore and enjoy the ride they like made is such a special memory.
Looking forward to more adventures.
