Hello dear Hiveians, today I'm back again with a travel review of our last trip in Indonesia. This is the last destination we had there to relax a little before going back home in the Philippines. In my last report I told you that Little Kobold was so sad to leave my family behind and she was still sad during the short flight to Bali from Surabaya. However, when we finally landed in Ngurah Rai International Airport her mood apparently got better so that she even blurted out something so amusing. Bali folks are very religious Hindu-community, so it's not something strange to have incense burning in every corners there including the airport with some offerings. For @jaki01 it's not something new either to see it, cos we've been here few times already and our first meeting was even here. But this is the first visit for our little mouse @janari01 , so when I noticed her sniffing the air I wanted to tease her a little and asked: "Jana, I see that you smell something interesting, right? Do you know what it is?" Her answer was kind of funny: "Ah Mommy, you're Indonesian, how could you not know it? It smell like Indonesian culture!" I was like...😅 😆 So..so... so that's how Indonesian culture smells like, LOL. How did she even come up with that 😁? 😅 😆 Also... so riecht also indonesische Kultur, LOL. Wie kommt sie nur auf so etwas? 😁 |

As always our Little Kobold is always very popular among beautiful ladies LOL. She basically made friends with every staffs she met during our stay there including the bartender and the waitress at Angelique cafe at the pool side
As always the breakfast buffet in Indonesian hotel is just unbeatable 😋. The only thing could need an improvement is probably only the juice served during breakfast, cos it's not really fruit juice as advertised but basically just sugar water with flavor, so it's better to just drink water and put some fresh fruit inside. Seasonal local fruits are so cheap actually, I really wonder why they couldn't just make fresh juices instead?
Gado-gado (lettuce, steamed eggs, potato, fried tofu and tempe with savory peanut sauce).
Toppings for "Bubur Ayam" aka chicken congee
One of my breakfast plate, consist of: chicken congee, risoles (rolled pancake with chicken ragout and veggies filling), spaghetti ala Napoletana and "bihun goreng jawa" (javanese style fried rice noodle).
This time it's fried rice, perkedel kentang (kind of hamburger made of potato and eggs), sweet sour fish and some carrot slices.
Virgin Mojito (non alcoholic beverage I ordered at Angelique cafe. I chose the non alcoholic one cos our little Kobold wants a share LOL)
The main pool downstair. The pool isn't big but good enough for our daily sport 😜. It was a nice pool if only smoking was prohibited there. I just don't get it why people are smoking at the swimming pool, where people are either doing their sport or playing with the children. The strong smoking addiction and lobby of cigarettes company in Indonesia is one of the reason why I didn't choose it as a migration destination.
Wefie at the roof top pool 😍
As a closure I'd like to show you one little improvement in Bali that deserves a compliment 😉. Yes, now they have Taxi service using an E-Car. This one is produced by BYD. Obviously some e-car or at least hybrid one are getting a bigger market share in Bali.
Ok my friends...that's all my travel report today. Thank you for your support and see you again soon with the next report :).
