Hello fellow world travelers! How are you? I haven't been feeling very well, but here I am showing you some of the adventures that I keep in my memory and that can't stay there alone.  These days I have dedicated to visit some sites in the city of Maracaibo which are somewhat forgotten, one of them is the School Nursery and Geological Museum of Guariya, located specifically in the Valle Frio sector a few meters from the Milagro Avenue, being very honest I did not know about this place I could locate it after reading a press release that talks about it and how desolate it is today.  So one Sunday afternoon I went with them to visit it, in it are exposed some fragments of rocks, minerals, wood and coal, the neglect of the site is quite notorious, so much so that it looks a little sad, with little color and care around it, also worked a nursery in its facilities but there is nothing left of what it was one day and I could not know.      It is the only space that the city has where geology is taken into account with this brief exhibition of rocks that by the way among which is one of the foundational stones of Maracaibo, was ignagurado in 2008, in order to show citizens the value of the environment and the elements that are found in it, it is a pity that is in this state and that the competent bodies can not help to beautify this important space.     I could not identify each mineral or rock by name because I do not study each of them, I could only recognize this huge coal by its color and because we use it a lot at home, which left me with my mouth open by its size and wanting to make a grill soon.    I am almost sure that at the time it was a beautiful and emblematic place to visit, I hope to come back and see it full of life and also the open doors of the nursery. ¡Hola amigos viajeros del mundo! ¿Como están? Yo no me he sentido muy bien, pero acá estoy mostrándoles parte de las aventuras que guardo en mi memoria y que no pueden quedarse solo allí.
Estos días los he dedicado a visitar algunos sitios en la ciudad de Maracaibo qué se encuentran un tanto olvidado, uno de ellos es la Escuela Vivero y Museo Geologíco de Guariya, ubicado específicamente en el sector Valle Frío a escasos metros de la avenida el Milagro, siendo muy sincera desconocía de este lugar lo pude ubicar luego de leer una nota de prensa que hababla acerca de él y lo desolado que se encuentra en la actualidad.
Así que una tarde de domingo me acompañaron a visitarlo, en el se encuentran expuestos algunos fragmentos de rocas, minerales, madera y carbón, el descuido del sitio es bastante notorio, tanto que se ve un poco triste, con poco color y cuidado a su alrededor, también funcionaba un vivero en sus instalaciones pero ya no queda nada de lo que fue algún día y que yo no pude conocer.
Es el único espacio con el que cuenta la ciudad en donde se toma en cuenta la geología con está breve exposición de rocas que por cierto entre las cuáles se encuentra una de las piedras fundacional de Maracaibo, fue ignagurado en el año 2008, con la finalidad de mostrarle a los ciudadanos el valor del medio ambiente y de los elementos que en el se encuentran, es una lástima que se encuentre en este estado y que los organismos competentes no puedan ayudar a embellecer este importante espacio.
No podría identificar cada mineral o roca por su nombre porque no estudio a cada uno de ellos, solo pude reconocer este enorme carbón por su color y porque lo utilizamos mucho en casa, que me dejó con la boca abierta por su tamaño y con ganas de hacer una parrilla pronto.
Estoy casi segura que en su momento era un hermoso y emblemático sitio para visitar, espero volver y poder verlo lleno de vida y además las puertas abiertas del vivero.
