Mis queridos amigos viajeros del mundo, es un gusto saludarles por aquí y mostrarles un hermoso lugar histórico de la ciudad de Maracaibo. **My dear traveler friends of the world, it is a pleasure to greet you here and show you a beautiful historical place in the city of Maracaibo.** Desde hace algún tiempo había querido conocer internamente el convento San Francisco de Asís, pero en dos oportunidades fuí, este se encontraba totalmente cerrado ya que el único lugar en el que abren es los días sábados, hasta que pude participar de una misa, asistí es un lugar que aproximadamente tiene más de 400 años, conserva su hermosa arquitectura histórica colonial, antigua donde el olor a madera se conserva totalmente intacto, es un lugar que transmite una paz única que permite que nos conectamos con Dios y también con el paso de la historia, este fue construido hace bastante años atrás bajo la orden franciscana. >For some time I had wanted to know internally the convent San Francisco de Asis, but twice I went, this was completely closed since the only place where they open is on Saturdays, until I could participate in a mass, I attended is a place that is approximately over 400 years old, retains its beautiful colonial architecture, old where the smell of wood is preserved fully intact, is a place that conveys a unique peace that allows us to connect with God and also with the passage of history, this was built many years ago under the Franciscan order.        El convento fue construido justamente los años 1600, su techo es elevado fabricado en madera y el altar tiene un arco totalmente enmarcado por ladrillos, el Sagrario se encuentra justamente centrado en el medio del altar es bastante imponente y hermoso el altar se encuentra fabricado en mármol, cada lateral podemos observar imágenes religiosas hermosas como lo son San Francisco de Asís, también elevados ojivales, estas son bastantes alargadas poseen distintas formas, en diversas formas redondas y con espirales, estas puertas a pesar que ha simple vista se aprecien bastante detereoradas tienen un encanto totalmente único, estas ventanas poseen celosías que permiten el paso del sol como reflejo dandole una forma única permitiendo lindo contraste con con sus paredes blancas en su interior, sin duda alguna esta ua belleza única para aquellos que saben admirarlas y comtemplar. >The doors and windows are also made of wood, has windows with high pointed arches, these are quite comtemplate.          ---                 --- Otro de los principales encanto que posee es que al ser una iglesia de Maracaibo colonial, tiene diversos candelabros distribuidos a lo largo del pasillo central, que llega hasta el altar son pocas las iglesias en Maracaibo que conservan estos candelabros son bastante encantadores, a pesar de que muchos de ellos tengan las luces completamente apagadas, suelo del convento podemos verlo que este es totalmente fabricado en ladrillo ya que en esos tiempos tenían este tipo de fabricación, también posee un lugar especial justamente en la entrda de lado se nota que ha transcurrido a lo largo de los años, todas las imgenes aprecian su gran antiguedad, justamente también posee una terreza desde adentro en el que se puede observar el altar de las puertas laterales, por las ventanas superiores se puede tener una vista a todo la plaza Baralt, esta iglesia se parece tanto a la iglesia Cristo de Aranza que posee mayor antiguedad. >One of the
