Here I am again, blogging friends, with the second part dedicated to my trip a few weeks ago to the Accerino Nature Reserve. I had already visited it, but since it's hectares and hectares of reserve, my husband and I decided to stay for a couple of days with my mother-in-law, who lives quite close to the reserve, and take the opportunity to finally see it all, or almost! In the previous post, I showed you the road that passes through Tobbiana, where my mother-in-law lives, to reach the reserve and our stop at the fountain, famous for its fresh water. From the fountain, we decided to continue our journey through the mountains toward the eastern side of the reserve, crossed by the Ombrone River. The road to the eastern side is more or less like the main road, winding through the beautiful mountains and offering breathtaking views for mountain and nature lovers. The view, as always, is truly magnificent, but here we venture into a side of the reserve where the nature is more dense, the forest is thicker, and the hiking trails are more difficult because there are several overhangs and steep descents, even reaching the river isn't always easy.
Aquí estoy de nuevo, amigos blogueros, con la segunda parte dedicada a mi viaje de hace unas semanas a la Reserva Natural de Arcerino. Ya la había visitado, pero como es una reserva de hectáreas y hectáreas, mi marido y yo decidimos quedarnos un par de días con mi suegra, que vive bastante cerca, y aprovechar para verla por fin completa, ¡o casi! En la entrada anterior, les mostré la carretera que pasa por Tobbiana, donde vive mi suegra, para llegar a la reserva y a nuestra parada en la fuente, famosa por su agua dulce. Desde la fuente, decidimos continuar nuestro viaje por las montañas hacia la zona este de la reserva, atravesada por el río Ombrone. El camino hacia la zona este es prácticamente igual que la carretera principal, serpenteando entre las hermosas montañas y ofreciendo vistas impresionantes para los amantes de la montaña y la naturaleza. La vista, como siempre, es realmente magnífica, pero aquí nos aventuramos en un lado de la reserva donde la naturaleza es más densa, el bosque es más espeso y los senderos para caminar son más difíciles porque hay varios salientes y descensos pronunciados, incluso llegar al río no siempre es fácil.
Finally, after driving around a bit, we found a path that led to the river. It was very steep, and I even fell, worrying my husband. But it was worth it, because besides finally being able to cool off in the river, I also found beautiful nature here.
The tall trees almost completely blocked the sun, making the forest thick and shady. The nature was very wild, but that didn't stop me from taking a walk around to admire the landscape and crossing the river. Beyond the river, we began to relax, but even though I was wearing a swimsuit, I only got my feet wet because the river water was very cold due to the shade. Anyway, we spent a very pleasant and relaxing day, even cool under the trees. I'll soon tell you about the second day of our trip, where we explored the western part of the reserve. It's truly a huge and beautiful reserve! If you love nature, you have to go there!
Finalmente, después de dar unas vueltas en coche, encontramos un sendero que conducía al río. Era muy empinado, e incluso me caí, preocupando a mi marido. Pero valió la pena, porque además de poder refrescarme en el río, también encontré una naturaleza preciosa. Los altos árboles bloqueaban casi por completo el sol, creando un bosque denso y sombrío. La naturaleza era muy salvaje, pero eso no me impidió dar un paseo para admirar el paisaje y cruzar el río. Más allá del río, empezamos a relajarnos, pero aunque llevaba bañador, solo me mojé los pies porque el agua del río estaba muy fría por la sombra. En fin, pasamos un día muy agradable y relajante, incluso fresco bajo los árboles. Pronto les contaré sobre el segundo día de nuestro viaje, donde exploramos la parte oeste de la reserva. ¡Es una reserva enorme y preciosa! ¡Si te gusta la naturaleza, tienes que ir!
