Good evening, blog friends, here I am again with one of my posts. I've been away a lot these past few days and weeks, and I have so many places to show you. I'll start with a place I visited about a week ago. I had to go down to my hometown to get some paperwork done. Since I had to wait, I decided to take a stroll around the area. Some friends had told me about a beautiful garden, so I took advantage of it! First, I walked through the typical streets of the center, which gradually transition from residential to historic, increasingly narrow, with various niches adorned with the typical Madonnas protecting walkers. I then reached the first garden I'd already visited, because there are some offices there, as well as one of the buildings housing a large collection of modern art. Indeed, the garden itself, as you can see, is almost a work of art.
Buenas noches, amigos del blog, aquí estoy de nuevo con una de mis entradas. He estado bastante fuera estos últimos días y semanas, y tengo muchísimos lugares que enseñarles. Empezaré con un lugar que visité hace una semana. Tuve que ir a mi pueblo a hacer unos trámites. Como tenía que esperar, decidí dar un paseo por la zona. Unos amigos me habían hablado de un jardín precioso, ¡así que lo aproveché! Primero, caminé por las típicas calles del centro, que van pasando de residenciales a históricas, cada vez más estrechas, con varios nichos adornados con las típicas vírgenes que protegen a los paseantes. Luego llegué al primer jardín que ya había visitado, porque allí hay unas oficinas, además de uno de los edificios que alberga una gran colección de arte moderno. De hecho, el jardín en sí, como pueden ver, es casi una obra de arte.
In front of the garden is also the Fabroni building, which is a very beautiful historic building. Afterwards, I went to the public garden called the Carbonile, which, as I'd been told, is truly lovely! The garden is located on an old industrial area where coal workers once worked; the area has been reclaimed to create a large green space in the city. It's said there was also a sort of small temple dedicated to a saint here, which is why the road leading to the garden is called Via Santa. It's a large garden with various unusual structures, like the straw sofas, which I immediately had to try. I warn you, they're not at all comfortable! It's also surrounded by beautiful buildings that provide a wonderful backdrop to this park, which also features several species of trees and shrubs supplied by local nurseries. It's a really lovely place to spend some time, if only it were less sunny!
Frente al jardín también se encuentra el edificio Fabroni, un edificio histórico muy bonito. Después, fui al jardín público llamado Carbonile, que, como me habían dicho, ¡es realmente encantador! El jardín está ubicado en una antigua zona industrial donde trabajaban los mineros del carbón; la zona ha sido recuperada para crear un gran espacio verde en la ciudad. Se dice que aquí también había una especie de pequeño templo dedicado a una santa, por eso la calle que lleva al jardín se llama Vía Santa. Es un jardín grande con varias estructuras inusuales, como los sofás de paja, que tuve que probar enseguida. ¡Les advierto que no son nada cómodos! Además, está rodeado de hermosos edificios que forman un maravilloso telón de fondo para este parque, que también cuenta con varias especies de árboles y arbustos procedentes de viveros locales. Es un lugar realmente encantador para pasar el rato, ¡ojalá hiciera menos sol!
