Truly, our state of Sucre has wonderful beaches and beautiful places with very friendly and cordial people. Now; we went to the Araya Peninsula, municipality Cruz Salmerón Acosta Sucre state Venezuela; place where many of us are used to call the other coast. In this municipality there are many towns and historical sites such as the Castle of Araya; however, we went to a town called Merito which is located between the towns of Tacarigua and Salazar. We always go to this town, because my wife's family lives there, and in an easy way we can enjoy its kindness on weekends, summer vacations or Christmas. Here there is a sector that used to be called El Diablo, but its owner, who is my father-in-law, made a kind of a change and changed the name to Puerto Santo. Being in town, we do not waste time and quickly bathe in that sector; this time, although I went with the whole family, I enjoyed the beach with my wife. The beaches of this town are crystal clear; the sky we enjoy on this side of the coast is simply magical. Of course, you have to be careful when getting into the sea, because there are areas near the shore that are a little deep. On the other hand, after a good swim, we also enjoyed the mountain system which is very beautiful and another fact is that the stones obtained from these mountains are used to decorate the facades of the houses or to build retaining walls; this because when it rains too much, many streams come out and literally flood the streets of the town.     From the heights of the mountains we enjoy a great coast and the Gulf of Cariaco with its characteristic blue; the sea and the mountains come together as if it were a valley, Merito is beautiful; the benefits offered by our state provide total peace and harmony for those who visit us. If you just want to walk without swimming, it is also a good option, because you can also exercise or just enjoy the view and feel the fresh air that touches your face and your whole body.    Another sensation that we can not miss if we come to Merito, are its beautiful sunsets. You can enjoy the sunset in different ways and see the reflection of the sun on the sea, it is simply fantastic. We can enjoy this sunset by seeing the sun in a giant way in all its splendor; you can also see its beauty when it hides between the palm trees, or also see its reflection along the mountains. Our trips to Merito are always sensational and I tell you, when we are here, we don't want to go back to reality hehehehehe. It only remains for you to be encouraged and dare to spend pleasant moments outside the stress of the city. Disfrutando en la Otra Costa. Hace unos días atrás; les hablé sobre lo hermoso e imponente que es nuestro Golfo de Cariaco, visto desde la costa donde se encuentra la ciudad de Cumaná. De verdad que nuestro estado Sucre tienes playas maravillosas y lugares hermosos con gente muy amable y cordial. Ahora; nos fuimos a la Península de Araya, municipio Cruz Salmerón Acosta estado Sucre Venezuela; lugar donde muchos de nosotros estamos acostumbrados a llamar la otra costa. En este municipio se encuentran muchos pueblos y sitios históricos como el Castillo de Araya; sin embargo, nos fuimos a un poblado llamado Merito que está localizado entre los pueblos de Tacarigua y Salazar. Siempre vamos a este pueblo, porque allí reside la famila de mi esposa, y de una manera fácil podemos disfrutar de sus bondades los fines de semana, vacaciones de verano o navidades. Ciertamente, es un pueblo pequeño que tiene solo dos calles; sin embargo, sus playas y montañas son mágicas. Ahora; vamos a disfrutar del Golfo de Cariaco visto desde Merito en la otra costa. Aquí existe un sector que se llamaba el diablo; pero su dueño, quien es mi suegro, hizo una especie de enrramada y le cambió el nombre a Puerto Santo. Estando en el pueblo, no perdemos tiempo y nos bañamos rápidamente en ese sector; en esta oportunidad, aunque fui con toda la familia, disfruté la playa con mi esposa. Las playas de este pueblo en toda su extensión son cristalinas; el cielo que disfrutamos de este lado de la costa es sencillamente mágico. Eso sí; hay que estar pendientes al meternos en el mar, porque existen sectores cerca de la orilla que son un poco profundos. Por otra parte; luego de darnos un buen baño, también disfrutamos del sistema montañoso el cual es muy hermoso y otro dato; es que las piedras que se obtienen de estas montañas, son usadas para adornar las fachadas de las casas o para construir muros de contención; esto debido a que cuando llueve demasiado, salen muchas quebradas y literalmente las calles del pueblo de inundan.     Desde las alturas de las montañas disfrutamos de una costa grandiosa y de un Golfo de Cariaco con su azul característico; el mar y las montañas se unen como si fuera un valle, Merito es hermoso; las bondades que ofrece nuestro estado proporcionan total paz y armonía para quienes nos visitan. Si deseas solo caminar sin bañarte, igualmente es una buena opción; porque también puedes realizar ejercicios o simplemente disfrutar de la vista y sentir el aire fresco que te toca la cara y todo tu cuerpo.    Otra sensación que no podemos perdernos si venimos a Merito, son sus hermosos atardeceres. Puedes disfrutar la caída del sol de diferentes formas y ver el reflejo del mismo sobre el mar, es sencillamente fantástico. Podemos disfrutar de este atardecer viendo el sol de una manera gigante en todo su esplendor; también puedes ver su hermosura cuando se esconde entre los árboles de palmeras, o también ver su reflejo a lo largo de las montañas. Nuestros viajes a Merito siempre son sensacionales y les digo, que cuando estamos aquí, no queremos volver a la realidad jejejeje. Solo queda que ustedes se animen y se atrevan a pasar momentos gratos fuera del estrés de la ciudad. No tengo la menor duda que muy pronto volveré a este pueblo y viviré nuevas experiencias; porque se pudiera pensar que siempre será lo mismo, pero lo cierto es que en Merito nada es igual, tus vivencias serán siempre totalmente diferentes; saludos a todos y nos vemos pronto con más aventuras en nuestro hermoso país Venezuela.
