Waiting for our pickup from the Ram-Mandir—
So after our journey to Hanuman Gadhi Temple in Ayodhya , we still had some time in spare before heading back to the train, which was to be coming on Ayodhya Cantt railway station. It was a perfect time for us to explore the areas nearby. We explore the local market and bought some clothes for my family members. After exploration of the market. We came back to the Ram Mandir waiting area to do some rest for a while.
Our pick up was also scheduled from the front gate of Ram Mandir itself and will be travelling in electric rickshaw till the bus stand from where we transferred to the buses that would let us take us to the railway station.
Below are some photographs of the city while I was travelling on electric rickshaw. It was that time of the day when the day night and it was slowly getting darker with every passing minute. You’d also be able to see that in the photographs in the sequential order.
After five minutes of ride on electric rickshaw , we reached Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, which was looking stunning in the evening light, and you can see in the photograph below the beauty of this monument.
Crossing Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, it was time for us to move on the highway that takes us outside of the city through the Dharma gate. Also mentioned in my last blogs, the story of Ramayana was made live on the sidelines of the road through illustrations that you can see below.
This idea is really thoughtful and is also really well executed. These illustrations have bought life to the roads of holy city of Ayodhya.
After being on the road for another 15 minutes, we finally reached the place where we had to switch from electric rickshaw to Bus. You can see in the photograph below the Bus, which we boarded in to the railway station.
It was already dark outside, and we were super tired. The railway station was about half an hour away from the place we were at that particular time. It was a perfect opportunity for us to unwind and prepare yourself to board the train again.
Reaching the Railway Station and boarding our Train —
We reached the station around 7:30 in the evening and our train was there within five minutes of our arrival. As this was a special train that was meant only for the travellers, so it was really comfortable, and it was always on time.
After we boarded the train, it was time for us to fresh up and get ready for the dinner that was to be served inside of the restaurant that was available in the train itself. There was also a shower area inside of the train where I took my shower to get ready for the dinner.
Below is a photograph that you can see that I captured inside of the train washroom after I took my shower, the shirt that I am wearing in this particular photograph, the shirt that I bought earlier that day from the market of the holy city of Ayodhya .
Now it was time for the dinner, and it was super delicious as it’s always. I had plenty of food that night as I was super hungry and tired from the exploration of different places that we did around daytime.
We spent the last few hours of the evening talking about our day and reading different stories from different people that we met inside of the train. We were now heading to Varanasi, that is holy city of India, and we would be reaching there the next morning.
It was really a day that will I remember forever in my life. I was really looking forward to reach Varanasi the next morning.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace ☮️
