Julley Everyone,
Been quite few days as it was finally time to go a bit of bit, so I decide to visit the upper himalayan region. I would say the end at the point of northern Himalayas. Show us the regions in the outskirts of Leh and Ladakh region. The cold Himalayan Desert the land beyond the Himalayas that place offers the harsh climate conditions and in the winter season, the whole place is covered with a thick blanket of snow that last for more than half the time of the year, it was only just two months these months, when I visited the place when we could clearly explore the place and usually rest of the time of the season, the place is mostly blocked and it is hard to just visit around during those climatic seasons during the winter time, especially so it was finally the day, my friends when I made it out to the Disket Gompa monastery, the one of the most oldest and ancient monastery at this place.
Sharing my personal experience with you with the perspective as myself, I was totally unaware about the place as I was not even familiar about what this was so sharing as much information as I could, as sharing the true vibes. The two experiences that I had on when I was at this place, starting my journey, my friends as far as I remember, it was somewhere around 11:26 AMthis morning. When I finally visited this place somewhere about 2 km away from the monastery as the location just showed me up as my journey till the place, kind of looked through the normal, typical highway of that, the cold Himala desert with the dry mountains and the whole place, not even looking like a tree or something by the side of the road that I see these dry mountain around the whole vegetation, just kind of looked unreal to me unrealistic as each and every single thing, each and every single moment that was just visible to me right in front of my eyes, it was just truly beautiful, and it was just unique in itself.
I was kind of getting the feeling that I visited and I have reached at a place that I would consider a desert normal desert, but the desert with the climatic conditions of that of beautiful mountainous place the mountains Institute of the Saint dunes that we typically find the desert region and my friends, the sky so beautiful showing up. It’s true colours as I could clearly see the white clouds all around, and I could clearly see the blue sky. It was really a whole lot of different experience that I had on when I was at this place, so just enjoying the view, taking these photographs and making it a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.
It had been more than 20 minutes that I was just driving through the same geographical location. The views, even they were just kind of similar. What else? How can I distinguish that? Where was the mountain peaks that was just looking like that they were quite far away from us, so they as I was just getting closer to the mountains as it just feels feel like that I was getting closer to them, but thing was that the mountain peaks they were getting far far away because we were not having any sort of tree or any sort of thing that would just be good, distinguish about the distance that how far the place is from this particular spot. Moreover, the mountain peaks that was literally more than 20 km away, and we can’t even distinguish that how far distance would be from the spot where we were, that was something unusual that I found about this place, and finally, I was just getting closer to the Gompa Road.
And finally, my friend somewhere around 37 minutes after as far as I remember the first thing that I saw were these tibetan flag, which is placed right at the starting of the trail that would lead us to the monastery, then followed by the pass, which was just right next to the road nearby. I was so excited to visit the place, my friends as now started off with taking as many photographs as I could so that I could share it with you guys.
Then started the journey of closer to the Tibetan monastery the Disket Gonpa.
From the spot, I could just see and figure out that it was a green area after so long, just wondering around the cold himalayan desert final. It was the portion that just looked a bit greener as my friends. This was the place at an higher altitude place situated near the town, and from here we could see the whole city, and if you guys look close close to the trail that we came through, there were these countless number of Stupas the white monuments, which is just built right next to the road.
And in just no time, we finally reached at the spot from where we could just make away to the monastery, usually the trails to the monastery, kind of look something just like this as this monastery, it was, and usually the other monastery that I’ve seen in the Himalayas, they usually built at such unique points, so was this built on a rock, then making our way my friends to the monastery nearby, which was just right right in front of her eyes, it was really a dream come true, a moment and my friends. I was just so excited to see the monastery as it was the monastery which was built in the 15th century near about 600 years ago And the place closer to tibet.
It was quite a lot of area to cover up as I was not even sure about that where it was starting point of the monastery. The first thing that a note is when I entered there was this monk sitting next to and it was a sort of a shop I would say, and this was the mock sitting peacefully next to his shop to see so quiet and calm my friends as it felt like that I totally visited a whole lot of a different place, as wherever I could see, I was getting the whole vibe of the bath, and that to the ancient Tibet is totally unfamiliar with the climatic conditions, then followed by the different elements of nature that I just saw clearly throughout my journey. I was just literally getting the feeling that I visited a whole lot of a different place altogether. These different types of things to be sold on the shop of the lama. Which was the monk in the local language. followed by the Tibetan flags, the different pieces of jewellery, gemstones and different in sticks and much more things which was just formed by the people and the artist nearby.
Then just entering the monastery, and I was somewhere close by and there were these stairs close to the statue of the Buddha, so beautifully built I was getting whole lot of positive vibes when I was at the place even the words there are less to describe my friends. It was just really a peaceful moment a day well spent out here in Himalayas that was giving me the vibes. I didn’t even knew that I spent more than three hours continuously. Just wondering around the place, and now I saw that time the clock was just close to 2 PM in the afternoon.
Dev, countless number of things to be noted, my friend, countless number of things to be explored nearby from here, I could see the whole view the whole view of the valley, not just the city. My friends place the whole region from miles and miles away near about more than 30 km, so I could clearly see each and every single thing from far far away the mountains closer to China and the lands beyond.
