**Dear fellow travelers, I wish you a wonderful weekend. I am looking forward to it, as I want to make the most of it and do different things with my family. Breathe fresh air and share special moments with them.
Today I want to show you a charming place. I say charming because it is one of those places that fill you with positive energy, make you feel at peace, and connect you with the simplest and most beautiful things in life. I am referring to the beach and the town of Guayacán, located in the municipality of Gómez, in the state of Nueva Esparta, on the beautiful Isla de Margarita. To get to this special place, you have to take Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, a road that gradually prepares you for what you will find just off the highway after passing Manzanillo.
On this occasion, after finishing work, I decided to take my mother to see Guayacán. She was very curious to visit this fishing village, one of those that preserve their traditions and essence. From the top of the hill, before going down to the village, you could see the entire cove. The weather was glorious, the sky was clear, and the sun illuminated everything with a warm light that brought out the colors of the sea and the vegetation. It was a truly beautiful view, the kind that makes you stop for a few minutes just to contemplate it.**

**We slowly descended the steep road, and as we got closer, the village began to reveal itself with its simple houses, many of them painted in bright colors. It is worth mentioning that most of the people who live in Guayacán are fishermen or live solely from fishing. It is a village that breathes sea, hard work, and tradition.**

**We were lucky to arrive just as the fishermen were returning from their daily catch. The boats began to approach the shore, and the beach became bustling with activity. I was struck by the decoration on the boats. One of them, for example, was named “Mi Esperanza” (My Hope) and had a painting of the Virgin of the Valley, the patron saint of the East. I found this detail very moving, a sign of faith and devotion that accompanies the fishermen on each day of their work.**

**We saw one of them take a huge fish out of the boat and place it on his shoulders. The fish was almost bigger than him, and he carried it to the scales to weigh it. Being very curious, I went over and saw that the scales showed 70 kilos. According to what they told us, it was a “tiburónaso,” as they call it. We were very surprised. It was impressive to see the strength and skill with which they handled everything.**

**As they were hard at work, we watched them weigh other fish and load them onto refrigerated trucks waiting at the edge of the beach. Other fishermen had already gathered their nets and were putting away their tools. One of them told me that at the end of the day, someone always stays behind with a hammock to look after the common good: their work tools.**

**It was a wonderful experience to see the fishermen of Guayacán come ashore with their catch. But the most beautiful thing, without a doubt, is the color of the sea and how calm it is. That's why many families with young children prefer this beach. It's safe, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing.
Unfortunately, as we had just come from work, we didn't have our swimsuits with us and couldn't take a dip in those warm waters. But we promised ourselves we would return soon, this time prepared to enjoy it to the fullest.
Well, dear friends, if you have the opportunity to visit Margarita, don't miss this beautiful place. Guayacán has magic, it has soul, and I assure you it will leave you with unforgettable memories.
I'll see you very soon in another of my posts.
See you soon.
Bye!**
¡Chao!*
