Tropical areas like here in the Philippines contains lots of beaches, Resorts, coastal areas and shorelines. Most of the place are not yet developed and it is still remains its natural beauty. Today, as part of my travel blog I will take you a quick tour to the place were many tourists and beach goers really wants to go, The Coastal areas of "Kabatohan Coast" located in Zone Bougonvilla in Barangay Calangahan. This Barangay is part of the Municipality of Lugait and it is near at the border point of Barangay Punta Silum in Manticao. Kabatohan means rocky places because of the coastal areas filled with lots of rocks and sea corals. There are lots of places that contains rocks but this coastal place is no other and there are no spots or areas that sands can only be seen and found. Despite of that, rocks formations and its colors and sizes gives a wonderful views at the place and seascapes addeds the views.
The wideness of the coastal is not really reach in here. Back in many years, the sea was a few meters away in this areas and the only thing can be seen that time was big trees and thick bushes. Manggrooves also grows, but as many years has past and climate still changes the sea waves continously raises resulting about reaching this areas. Trees are washed out and submerged in the sea water leaving some tree trunks just like this one. Now, it is already part of the coastal areas but when it low tide this coastal areas will completely dry leaving tons of stone corals and shells.
Most of the coconut trees here are not planted, it only grows on itself for many years and it produces lots of coconut fruits. This tree helps for the residents in terms of getting more firewoods and leaves used for rooftops. Some of it are grows near at the shoreline and even if it is reached by sea water sometime, still the trees grows and survived. Even if the areas are filled with rocks, there are some agricultural plants grows and produced lots of fruits. This series of coconut trees also gives a shady and cool areas that tourists really wants.
This paradisiacal views makes the place even more attractive and perfect to visit. Not only coconut trees can be seen and found grows here but also this dangerous twigs were lots of thorns on its branches. But despite of that, under this thick plants, a wide and cave-like site can found were big rocks and corals also at the shore. This are some of the place were tourists and beach goers alway went bringing their foods and snacks to do picnics and campings. It faces to towards the sea including the other parts of neighboring Municipalities.
Beach sands cannot be seen and found here, only big rocks, corals and peebles are at the place. But it gives a great contributions of the shoreline because of its colors, sizes and rocks formations. Sea shells and crbas also hid in here specially during hightide. Rock pools are expected to see every lowtide were trapped shrimps and fishes can be seen afterwards.
In terms of fishing and swimming spots, this area is also perfect on the said adventures. Every afternoon until evening, lots of small boats sails and floated here catching lots of fish and for swimming activities, the deep see contains fine sands is a perfect diving areas. The paradisacal views of Kabatohan coast is worth it foe those who loves and explore the place.
