On the wings of the wind in the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg, Austria
Hello dear friends
The end of the week and the weekend that just passed had some difficult moments when we had to be with our friends and attend the funeral of the father of one of our friends.
I can say that this would also be the reason why I stayed and I thought to share with you beautiful moments spent with the same friends when I visited Austria, that is some cities there, today I will stop in a very beautiful place full of color with an impressive baroque architecture.
Let's stop for a few minutes at the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg.
And in this city as in other European cities in peak periods we encountered congestion, we came by car (I'll leave you some pictures taken from the road) but without any problem we found a place in an underground car park where we paid 2.5 euro / hour, as soon as we left the parking a few dozen meters we were already at the entrance gate of the gardens.
Also here you will find Mirabell Castle which unfortunately we didn't get to visit this time.
After the first few steps here we were speechless, everything very well arranged, many roses, we noticed places arranged with benches to relax and a little further on we entered the gardens through a gate that had two pillars on the side that had a huge vase on top where flowers were planted.
We spent some time here, we took pictures in all kinds of ways, I say that they came out beautiful pictures, by the way I found that everything here has a logic, that is, the landscaping of the gardens is done according to a well established project.
Continuing our exploration of the gardens we discovered the summer theatre and at the time we were here there was an event going on where everyone was dressed in traditional costumes (I have to admit that I didn't really understand what was going on there because it was only in German, which I don't understand).

The next stop was at an artesian fountain, at first glance it only seemed interesting to photograph but a few days later I discovered that the fountain had a name and was well known.

The famous Pegasus Fountain which also appeared in a Golden Globe winning film, I really wondered why people were flocking to photograph that fountain when they had so much more to photograph inside the gardens (I had to wait long enough to get a shot without tourists in the background).

Immediately to the right of Pegasus's Fountains you climb some stairs, cross a wooden bridge and then you reach the dwarfs' garden (Zwergerlgarten), I like to call them trolls, that's what I thought when I saw them.

There are many such dwarves here in this part of the garden, apparently they were the jesters of the royal court, from what I have read their role was to entertain important people of the royal court, but as time went by they were also used as scouts of the kings (it seems that the kings of those times had great confidence in them and in the information they received from them).

In conclusion, I can say that visiting this garden was something thrilling, going from one state to another, from joy to suspense, from the beauty of roses, flowers, to the famous Pegasus Fountain and Dwarf Garden, the only thing left for me to do is to recommend this place.
