My daughter reminded us this past Saturday that school vacation was over, and it was important to make the most of our last free moments. So, we decided to find something fun for her to do. We ended up at a non-traditional inflatable park that was set up in the parking lot of the city's largest mall.

Fue por esto que decidimos salir en búsqueda de un plan para hacer y que ella pudiera distraerse, encontrando así un parque inflable no tradicional que fue colocando en el estacionamiento del centro comercial más grande de la ciudad.
I was surprised at how affordable it was. For only $5, you could buy a wristband that let kids enjoy eight inflatables and two trampolines until 11 a.m. The park is called "Ciudad Inflable" and belongs to [Grupo Ocasiones](https://www.instagram.com/grupo_ocasiones?igsh=MWJmN2FuZmR5NTI0cg==). They usually provide services for private events, but sometimes, like this, they set up a small park with their inflatable attractions open to the public.

What kid doesn't love to jump? Honestly, I think every child does. When I take my daughter to places like this and see the look on all the kids' faces, the excitement and pure happiness are indescribable. If it were up to my daughter, she would live in an inflatable. If I could've bought one, it would've been the best investment of my life. Plus, renting them out seems like a great business.

My daughter loves all the inflatables, but lately, her favorites are the ones where you climb up to go down a big slide. Getting to the top isn't always easy since some of them can be over 30 feet tall. That's why I loved seeing her and the older kids work together. They'd stand at the top and offer a hand to the younger kids who were struggling to get up. I could hear them all laughing together as they slid down.
>Mi hija ama todos los modelos, pero últimamente los que ofrecen subir para descender por un gran tobogán han sido sus favoritos. Subir hasta lo más alto de estos inflables no siempre es fácil, pueden llegar a medir más de 10 mts de alto, por eso me encanta como se ponían de acuerdo ella y otros niños más grandesitos, para colocarse en la parte de arriba y extender la mano a los más pequeños que les costaba llegar, y escucharlos reír a carcajadas juntos mientras todos se lanzaban por el tobogán.

There was one really cool one my daughter hadn't tried before: a maze with a spinning mechanism in the middle. It had two pads that would hit anyone who stood up and tried to walk. So, you had to crouch down and only stand up to move faster. She got a little anxious and only tried it once, but she still came out laughing.
>Uno que me pareció bien chévere y no había probado mi hija antes, fue el del laberinto que en el medio tiene un mecanismo giratorio con dos colchones que golpeaban a quien se levantaba a caminar, por lo tanto, debía ir agachada y levantarse solo para avanzar más rápido hasta alcanzar en centro o salir del laberinto. Ese le dió un poco de ansiedad y solo lo probó una vez, pero al igual salió riéndose.

It was a super fun afternoon. By the end, she was so exhausted that she was struggling to jump and climb. We kept telling her it was time to go, but she didn't want to, maybe wondering when she'd get another chance like this. I promised her that even during the school year, on a weekend, we could visit a place like this again. Besides, Christmas and her birthday are coming up, and we always make sure she has fun on those days.
>Fue una tarde muy divertida, ya al final estaba tan exhausta que saltaba y subía con dificultad, le decíamos para irnos al verla así, pero se negaba, quizás pensando cuando volvería a tener este tipo de oportunidad. Le prometí que aún en temporada de clases si es fin de semana, podemos volver a visitar un sitio como este, además ya se acerca la época navidad y su cumpleaños dónde procuramos que pase días divertidos.
