I haven't watched much lately because I've been out a lot, but I saw that they were soon removing this series from Netflix Italy, so I decided to watch it, and I don't regret it! Million Yen Women is about a penniless and unsuccessful writer with a dark past that haunts him. He is the son of a murderer, and his father's fame precedes him. Every day he receives various threats by fax. His life changes when, for one million yen in rent, a motley crew of women come to live in his house, invited by a complete stranger. The protagonist, Michima, takes care of them, and after all, the rules for their coexistence are few: take care of them and don't ask questions. And yet, little by little, episode after episode, we will come to know the story of each woman, from the shy student with a terrible past in an orphanage, to the female head of a sort of brothel, who always sits at the table without a dress and who seems tough but deep down has a good heart and ugly wounds for all the other women who pass through the house.

Michima's character will also be revealed episode after episode. Each of these women's stories is different and fascinating. None of the characters are predictable, in fact they are all well-developed and fleshed out. In this climate, Michima will try to write a book and build a career, even going against a fellow writer, an emblematic and not-so-good character. This series has so many facets and no banality. I highly recommend it. Honestly, I haven't found a single flaw. The plot is interesting, the characters are equally interesting, the cinematography is splendid, and the actors are excellent. A series that's truly worth watching, especially if you love Japanese dramas. I give it a 10 out of 10!
El personaje de Michima también se revelará episodio tras episodio. La historia de cada una de estas mujeres es diferente y fascinante. Ninguno de los personajes es predecible; de hecho, todos están bien desarrollados y desarrollados.
