Hello Hivers, Although I've been here since its beginning, after Steem hardfork, I take 2025 as such a new adventure and a journey to deeper knowledge. (Also, this post is my first experience with inLeo.)
Few years ago an unknown user of a discord group led me to the NFT game #Splinterlads. At the best moment, before the explosion of play2earn gaming. Today we are good friends.
At the best moment, a guildleader also led me to a second NFT game... #dCrops. That's when I learned that both games run on the Hive blockchain.
Since I had built a fairly strong position in both games, I became interested in blockchain itself. To make sure my NFTs and gaming tokens are safe.
I was lucky enough to be guided through the beginning by @godfish, who showed a great deal of patience. I was also lucky that I really jumped into both of the aforementioned gaming projects at the right time and have been able to benefit from their existence for several years.
It's been more than a year since I've been publishing articles mostly in my mother tongue and in the group under the tag #cesky. Mainly economic topics, blockchain gaming and occasionally something off topic. I don't earn much... Averaging around 5$/article, if I don't get voices from big curation groups once in a while, where a few people from our pond are involved.
So I'm an OG PC gamer, a lover of board and collectible card games, a construction engineer, a father of two beautiful girls, and I'm planning a big restart this year.
I want to jump out of the rat race for six months, enjoy more good times with my family, and get a little more involved in activities around the Hive network. After more than two years of intense study, I've come to the conclusion that it's worth it to build a reputation on Hive, make strong position in Hive Power, and fight for that piece of the pie.
Until recently, I only saw it as an opportunity to expand my GameFi portfolio. I'm happy with those now, and this will be the year I plan to start moving liquidity in the opposite direction.
Especially the rewards. The SPS stake alone generates me ~1800SPS/month just for staking. I'm getting ~5% of seasonal Croptokens rewards in dCrops. As for gaming NFT collections, the potential is much greater there, but I'm a degen and I love my collection. It's going to be hard to get rid of it.
I believe in web3.0 apps, and through Hive I'm betting that web3.0 social networks will be the music of the future. There are some aspects I don't like. I'm curious to see if I can change them, or at least contribute to making the chain a slightly better place.
