**When was the last weekend you did something completely and totally different from what you usually do? Explain what it was and why you did it.**
I usually spend my weekends at home cleaning, organizing clothes, and other tasks. I also get to rest, which is very important to me, as it allows me to start the week active and energized. Now that my son is on school vacation, I can spend the first few hours of the day doing other activities. Last weekend was very different, and I had a great time. I had the opportunity to go to the countryside. I really like going to the countryside because I can enjoy being in contact with nature, observe the landscape, and escape the hectic routine of the city. The trip was planned for the first few days of the week, but for various reasons, it was changed and we did it on the weekend. The change turned out very well because I was able to go with my family and spend some pleasant days.

It was also a great opportunity for my son to relax on vacation. He enjoyed the visit to the countryside, as he loves nature. He walked, explored, and made the most of it. In my country, it's customary to prepare soup or "sancocho" when going to the countryside or to the river, and this occasion was no exception. The boys were in charge of cooking and prepared a delicious soup over wood. Nothing beats food cooked over wood, as it has a unique flavor with that special touch that the wood adds, and it's even better when prepared in open spaces and natural surroundings.
It was a very different weekend than my usual ones, and I was able to relax, walk along the riverbank in the morning, watch the sunsets from the mountains, explore a beautiful place, and appreciate the beauty of nature.
On our way back from the countryside we stopped at my friend's uncles' house, they are very kind and dedicated to agricultural work, when we arrived they were clearing the land and watering the plants, they are growing squash, corn, cassava and banana, this is one of the great advantages of the countryside is that we can grow our own food and if you live near the river you have a beautiful pool available to take a refreshing swim, just like my friend's uncles, who have been blessed with a river that runs very close to their house, taking advantage of our visit we went to the river to swim, the water was cold and perfect to combat the heat, the children did not want to get out of the water, after several hours we resumed the trip back home, I was very happy because I had a great weekend enjoying contact with nature.
