I've been thinking about my weekend all week long but I was so plugged in to my work duties I wasn't able to give it the attention it deserved. This has resulted in me arriving at the weekend with no real plans which is not a massive issue although I feel I've missed the train and been left standing on the platform with few options.
I'll come up with some ideas and if not there's a hundred household chores I could do I suppose.
For the last several weeks I've been thinking about going to the park where they sail model boats on the lake but have had things pulling me in different directions so maybe I'll do that. They have a nice ice cream stand there as well and double chocolate chip ice cream always seems like a good idea.
There's also a hot rod car show happening about an hour away and they have two live bands playing as well; it's only on today so I'll have to get organised if I want to go there. I'm very tempted, but a friend of mine has been asking me to go and look at her car which needs some attention and maybe today is the day for that. Maybe I could do a quick service on her car and we both drive to the hot rod show together. Now there's an idea.
I'll sort it out I suppose, and the day is still young, so there's a bit of time to work on my plan.
