Day, night and early morning without mercy we can be long hours without electricity, which causes a general irritation in the entire population, since we sleep badly and we must face the daily struggle of life in the country in worse conditions.
That is why, when I finished my workday on Friday, I went with my sister for a walk in Havana, to relax a little.
The weather was rainy, but that was not an impediment, on the contrary, I was able to witness an atmospheric phenomenon, a Tromba Marina, it was mild and formed in the sea, it was really something very beautiful and impressive.
We decided to go to eat something at the Palenque, a very nice Ranchón Campestre with very good prices, this place is by reservation, but the captain served us with kindness and allowed us to pass.
Unfortunately, they were almost closing the shift and had few offers, but the attention and the environment more than made up for this inconvenience.
I was very happy with my frapé lemonade and the charcoal chicken they offered us, I went back home with more energy.
Saturday was also super special, I had the joy of a very dear friend visiting me.
In the afternoon my sister, my friend, my husband and I met at my cousin's house, he lives in the U.S. and is planning to start a business in Cuba.
Sharing with my cousin Amador is always very relaxing and fun, I don't know how he manages to make us laugh, he reminds my sister and me a lot of my father both in physique and character.
These encounters are very gratifying and we really need it very much, we live in continuous stress, in Cuba living has become a struggle to survive and in the midst of this struggle, we must try not to forget, to dedicate some time to enjoy this gift that is living.
