Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I have been working on a digital drawing over the last few days and I have just finished it today. I would like to share the final result with you, as I am used to practicing semi-realistic female portraits. What I enjoyed most during the process was the expression on the female character's face.
To begin this work, I used a visual reference I found on Pinterest. This image was the main starting point for bringing the idea I had in mind to life. Below, I'm going to share some images that show the progress of the illustration.
Hola a todos, espero se encuentren bien, en estos dias estuve haciendo un dibujo digital y acabo de terminar el dia de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el resultado final, como estoy acostumbrado en practicar un retrato femenino al estilo semirrealista. Lo que más disfruté durante el proceso fue la expresion del rostro del personaje femenino.
Para comenzar en esta obra, me basé en una referencia visual que encontré en Pinterest. Esta imagen fue lo principal para empezar el materializar la idea que tenía en mente. A continuación, les voy a compartir algunas imágenes que muestran el progreso de la ilustración.
Process
In the sketch phase, I defined the proportions and established the basic structure of the character using lines. I then moved on to the color stage, and finally applied shadows to give depth and volume to the portrait.
En la fase del boceto, definí las proporciones y establecí la estructura base del personaje mediante trazos. Para despues seguir con la etapa del color, para luego aplicar las sombras para dar profundidad y volumen al retrato.
