Happy weekend nature-loving friends, visiting the countryside is definitely an excellent opportunity to breathe fresh air, enjoy contact with nature and admire the beautiful gifts it gives us, in previous posts I have commented that I like to visit the countryside because it allows me to relax and disconnect from the hectic city life; Several months ago, in the company of my family, we visited the countryside, a very dear friend lives there, who, along with her family members, is dedicated to farming and raising animals, when I have the opportunity to visit the countryside I make the most of it and in the company of my little adventurer we go hiking, we tour the place and each experience is enriching because we learn or get to know some animal or plant species, during our visit we are located in the hill area, in this rural area the space is divided into two regions, one flat part and the other to the right side where you can see a beautiful hill, this hill converges with the national highway and in turn limits the field of another sector.

Feliz fin de semana amigos amantes de la naturaleza, definitivamente visitar el campo es una excelente oportunidad para respirar aire puro, disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza y admirar los hermosos regalos que ella nos da, en publicaciones anteriores he comentado que me gusta visitar el campo porque me permite relajarme y desconectarme de la agitada vida en la ciudad; hace varios meses en compañía de mi familia visitamos el campo, allí vive una amiga muy querida, quien se dedica junto con los miembros de su familia a cultivar y criar animales, cuando tengo la oportunidad de visitar el campo la aprovecho al máximo y en compañía de mi pequeño aventurero, hacemos caminatas, recorremos el lugar y cada experiencia es enriquecedora pues aprendemos o conocemos alguna especie animal o vegetal, durante nuestra visita nos ubicamos en el área del cerro, en esta zona rural el espacio se divide en dos regiones, una parte plana y la otra hacia el lado derecho donde se pueden observar un hermoso cerro, este cerro converge con la carretera nacional y a su vez limita el campo de otro sector.

After a road trip, which takes approximately an hour and a half, we were already in the countryside, on the way I took several photos of the place, the access roads, the houses and vegetation, when we arrived at our destination, the hill caught my attention, it was painted a beautiful green color with the abundant trees and bushes, this can be seen from the road but when you get to the countryside, the view is totally different, to get to the hill you have to walk approximately 30 kilometers and although the sun was intense we began our walk, because we wanted to see the vegetation, the rocks and be as close as possible to this natural monument, we took water put on our caps and began our walk, on the walk we saw several birds, flowers and bees, I decided not to take pictures so as not to interrupt their nap, since the objective was to get as close as possible to the hill we moved forward and when we had traveled between 18 and 20 kilometers, we came across small puddles or water holes, which prevented us from reaching our destination, but that was not an impediment to enjoy the beautiful view of the place and take some photographs.
Luego de un recorrido por carretera, que toma aproximadamente hora y media, ya estábamos en el campo, en la vía tomé varias fotos del lugar, las vías de acceso, las casas y vegetación, al llegar a nuestro destino, me llamó la atención el cerro, estaba pintado de un hermoso color verde con los abundantes árboles y arbustos, este se puede observar desde la carretera pero cuando llegas al campo, la vista es totalmente diferente, para llegar al cerro hay que caminar aproximadamente 30 kilómetros y aunque el sol estaba intenso emprendimos nuestra caminata, porque queríamos ver la vegetación, las rocas y estar lo más cerca posible de este monumento natural, llevamos agua, nos pusimos las gorras y emprendimos nuestro paseo, en la caminata vimos varias aves, flores y abejas, decidí no tomar fotos para no interrumpir su siesta, pues el objetivo era llegar lo más cerca posible del cerro avanzamos y cuando llevábamos entre 18 y 20 kilómetros de recorrido, nos encontramos con pequeños charcos o pozos de agua, que nos impidieron el paso hacia nuestro destino, pero eso no fue impedimento para disfrutar la hermosa vista del lugar y tomar algunas fotografías.

Some fruit trees, such as lemon and topocho, produce year-round, and there's no need to go to the market or the city to buy vegetables because you have the option of growing them at home. Visiting the countryside is an excellent way to replenish your energy. As my friend often says, **"The countryside is life and love for nature."**
Al regresar de nuestra divertida caminata, mi amiga nos comentó que la semana anterior a nuestra visita, habían tenido varios días de lluvia y eso contribuyó a que gran parte del terreno aún estuviese mojado, luego de recorrer la zona cercana al cerro, volvimos a la casa, ayudamos a preparar la comida y compartimos un delicioso almuerzo, mi amiga además de criar animales como Cochino [**Sus scrofa domestica**]( https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sus_scrofa_domestica), el cual también se conoce como chancho, puerco y cerdo, cochino es el nombre más común que recibe en el país, también cría pato y cultiva algunas hortalizas; auyama y Topocho [**Musa × paradisiaca**](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musa_%C3%97_paradisiaca) el cual, es uno de los vegetales más usados para preparar sopas, ella y su familia tienen por costumbre cocinar una sabrosa sopa que me gusta mucho y solo lleva tres ingredientes; topocho, ajo y carne, estos tres ingredientes aunque parezca muy poco para un gran sabor, al unirse son una delicia, el topocho también agrega espesor a la sopa y el ajo con su característico sabor le agrega un plus, luego de comer hicimos otro pequeño recorrido por la zona de cultivo de la casa de mi amiga allí vimos varias plantas de topocho, limoneros, entre otros; una de las ventajas de vivir en el campo o espacios rurales, es que puedes cultivar tus alimentos y disponer de ellos cuando los necesites, siempre que estén en el tiempo de cosecha, aunque algunos frutales como el limón y topocho producen todo el año y no hay necesidad de ir al mercado o la ciudad a realizar compras de verduras, porque tienes la opción de cultivarlas en casa, visitar el campo es una excelente terapia para reponer energía. Tal como suele decir mi amiga; **” El campo es vida y amor por la naturaleza”**
