「 “ How do you take care of a common daisy?” " 」
“Well, you just have to water it twice a day, every single day”
About 2 weeks ago, I got a common daisy. It’s the first flower beautifying my balcony until I noticed some of its leaves withered just because I forgot to water it that one day I was out and about. So, since then, I am trying to water it regularly and if I am out of the house, I normally ask my mom to do it for me.
As you can see above, that is my current daisy and apparently, now I have to use some type of fertilizer for the plants. But yesterday, when I was trying to water plants and flowers on my balcony, I tripped and the water I carried made it worse because I couldn't control my legs and made my right knee got twisted with a mild pop sounds.
The worst part of it is that I was on the second floor of the house which would mean, it would be certainly challenging for me to actually move around and do anything.
I yelled calling my mom and she eventually helped me get downstairs. Since it happened quite a bit late, we waited until the next morning to go to the clinic. I finally got an X-Ray and had to wait for the result. I don't know why we even had to wait but it is what it is.
In the meantime of waiting my mom decided to also call a bone-setter because traditionally, over here people go there rather than orthopedic care. I hesitated because I was afraid if it only made the problem worse and not better. but since this is the same person some of my family got their bone re-adjusted, I decided to just trust it as the result of his previous care was quite good.
Right after getting the X-ray, I went back home and got my knee re-adjusted. I was able to walk a bit more comfortably than before. previously, after it happened, I couldn't really bend my knee and even forced myself to bend because eitherway, I had to go back downstairs.
The bone adjuster told me that it was a great idea to get it checked within 24 hours or otherwise, it will worsen the situation and got even more inflamed.
My main concern was really that I afraid I wouldn’t be able to walk or refrain from walking for a week or two. I just hope there would be no serious fracture that requires surgery. I don’t 100% agree with folk medicine but I was glad to listen to my mom and her advice. Now, I can move around a bit more comfortably than before. Still, I am waiting for the picture to get further orthopedic care.
It’s really started by something silly but I learned my lesson to be extremely careful. Maybe it was just one of those days when you’re being unlucky 😂 and getting your knee dislocated is one of the most painful thing ever.
This incident remind me of that Happy Tree Friends, it's just like usual day but them boom, something unexpected happened 😂.
