There are people who have no mercy on this heart of mine... it was instant, unexpected, it was as if I were struck by lightning... my smartwatch started vibrating, rang... it was something too powerful, a warning to immediately take off my shoes, and pull the ground wire... the bracelet doesn't have artificial intelligence, but at that moment it did, because I felt it tighten its grip on my wrist. 😮
I took off my shoes, put them back on, and told myself that the promise I made to Amanda to bring her two small plants for her boring, lonely pots was time to fulfill it... so I could get some fresh air in my face, you know? 😁
I put two little plants in my backpack—no, inside the backpack I put a Nescafé container, and inside that container, the two little plants. I also brought the old spoon I use to plant mine, and a few blocks before reaching her house, I told her to come down from the pigeon loft (hahaha) with the pots.
Yes, we are beautiful... 🤣 -- the plants said after they were planted.
What I can tell you is... oh, but I hadn't told you I'm using a smartwatch. What a head of mine! I lost it after meeting the blonde girl on the mountain. 🤣

Okay, this is it. My friend says it's useless, that everyone knows what they have to do and that you shouldn't wait for a clock to tell you... obviously. I know. Hahaha... I love how sincere she is, and she makes me burst out laughing too. Eddy's no slouch. Between the two of them, they make my day.
She also says that I'm going to go crazier than I already am with it. And well, she's partly right. The clock has already told me things... like my dream animal is a shark. It's not a lie, I have proof.

You see... I sometimes reply to comments on Hive while I sleep. 🤣
I can tell you about the watch another day and why I find it useful. But it's also true that it drives me crazy sometimes... when it loses the signal, for example... the GPS signal.
Just yesterday (23/04). After meeting María del Carmen, I became a Local Legend on the Hill of Sighs (Lomita de los suspiros), according to Strava. The proof is on the map. You can see I'm in charge of bringing back the evidence. Ah, look! I also have that title in Cujae-Fontanar. 😁
But since the watch couldn't actively handle connectivity issues on the ground as it claims... because it's an Active 5, well, nothing... it only recorded the 8km journey to the dentist but not the return journey. 🙆
This is my Strava profile.
The point is that the watch syncs with Strava and sends the data there. Make sure you're in a place with a good signal. Or... Should I throw it away. Amanda? 😏
Well, at least now you know why I titled my post like that... although today... the thing is, I came to talk about something else and I haven't gotten around to the topic of the post yet.
Obviously, I'm confused. 😶
What I wanted to say is that today, after working hard this morning on various things... I made spaghetti with tuna and pineapple, which I love. Because I bought the pineapple. The rest of what I already told you happened after enjoying that delicious dish and having a little nap...
I used Amanda's scale the other day and I weigh 53 kg. Eddy measured me (I'm a gnome) and told me a beer would make me grow, but I only accepted coffee because you shouldn't drink alcohol while driving. As for weight, I think I can eat whatever I want!
The first thing I made was garapiña. With pineapple peels, as you can see. This can be done fermented or boiled.
You can check here: https://lacocinadevero.com/como-hacer-garapina/
Then I started making the spaghetti. Don't expect a step-by-step guide. Just chop things up and put them in a pot to make the sauce.
I used:
Culantro del monte leaves, a few garlic cloves, half a can of tuna, three and a half slices of pineapple chopped into small pieces, a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of tomato paste (which I would have preferred to substitute with fresh tomato pieces but didn't have any... and salt.

It's got a bit of a crappy scientific name... Anyway, I have some of this planted in my garden. 😃

I had to keep the spirits from beyond the grave quiet because they wanted to take the unfinished spaghetti.

How I enjoyed all these magical smells in the kitchen...! Nothing out of the ordinary, I know. But the simpler and more tender things are, the better for me.

And finally... sitting on my terrace to enjoy a delicious lunch, knowing there would be one more dish for later because I made enough for two: my 3 pm self and my... in a few minutes self. I think I'm getting hungry now. Only 20 minutes left until 1 am.
I didn't have any cheese... my aunt sent me Parmesan cheese, but my mom still has it hijacked and hasn't found anyone who'll come to Havana.
So I poured yoghurt on it, which is what you see in that cup. Have you ever tried that?
Today I also finished reading Napoleon Hill's book, Outwitting the Devil: The Secret to Freedom and Success.
Since I always have a lot going on, I listen to it using the ReadEra app to read EPUB and PDF files. So, while I was making lunch, I listened to the last few pages of the book. I think it's something everyone should read. I'd be happy to share my impressions of this book in a future post.

Go eat some spaghetti now if you want some... run! hahaha... I'm leaving. 👋
