Today I made a vegan recipe for my pregnant friend who came to visit me. So I don't have anything to give her then on a second thought I remember that I have a cocoyam and oil bean (Ugba) I said to myself let me make use of it and cook for her.
INGREDIENTS USED
One plate of cocoyam
Half cup of red oil
One teaspoon of salt for taste
Six pieces of fresh pepper 🌶️
One bulb of onion
Some pieces of utazi leaf 🌿
One cup of oil bean (Ugba)
Water
PROCEDURE
In this procedure I will show how I made this recipe
First I wash my cocoyam very well and put into a pot and cook for like 35 minutes for it to be cooked well
Then wash all my ingredients and divide my bulb of onion into two pieces and bring my mortar put in my fresh pepper, onions and pound together and then cut my utazi leaf 🌿 and the remain of my onion and set aside
After all that I check my pot of cocoyam and it has been cooked very well so I bring it down and leave it to cool for some minutes
Then after that I set another pot on the fire to dry water and after drying water I add my red oil into it and allow it to heat for a while
After the oil has heat I add my chopped of onions then add my pounded ingredients and mix
Then after awhile I add my oil bean (Ugba) add salt for taste then add my cutted utazi leaf and mix
Here is the face of my utazi and oil bean (Ugba) sauce very delicious 😋
After all that I peel my cocoyam and then set aside
Here my food is ready so I serve my friend for her to enjoy
