Wishing all my dear friends a very good day! How are you doing? I hope you are all doing well. Beetroot is one of those vegetables that brings both beauty and nutrition to the plate. Its rich red color, earthy flavor, and natural sweetness have made it a favorite in many kitchens. Packed with iron, fiber, and essential vitamins, beetroot is known for boosting energy, aiding digestion, and adding a vibrant appeal to any meal. Preparing it as a curry or a mallum is a simple yet effective way to enjoy its healthy goodness. Let’s see how it tastes when prepared this way too.
Materials Used.
Beetroot vegetable 200g. 1/2 Cup of Grated Coconut. 3 Chopped green chilli pods. Curry leaves. A few finely chopped onions. 3 cloves of chopped garlic.
Salt to taste. 1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder. 1 Teaspoon of Cumin seed. 2 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
The cooking process as follows.
Now let’s get ready to prepare this dish. For that, take a beetroot, wash and clean it well, remove the skin, and grate it using a grater as shown below.
Next, take a pan and add two tablespoons of coconut oil, then place it on the stove. Once the oil is heated, add onions, garlic, curry leaves, and green chilies. Allow them to sauté for a while.
Next, add the grated beetroot to the same pan. Mix it well and cook for about 3–4 minutes.
Next, add the grated coconut, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another 3 minutes, then remove from the stove.
So my friends, this is another way you can try beetroot. A beetroot dish is not just food, but a blend of taste, health, and color. Whether served with warm rice or as a side dish at mealtime, it always adds a special touch to the table. Light, nutritious, and satisfying, it truly proves that healthy eating can also be delicious. That’s all from me for today. Wishing you all a very wonderful day.
