Am always looking forward to the weekends because it helps me have more time to plan and bake some special recipes that makes the kitchen smell nice on a weekend. And today’s recipe is a savory rolls I made with spring onions that gave me some amazing results.
Trying out recipes is one thing I love , even though I might not know what the result will be , but I still want to experience it once it comes yo mind to try them out. And this recipe honestly is one top notch because onions are one vegetable I can not do without . You can imagine incorporating spring onions and spices in a baking. Its everything you can think of when it comes to savories .

I tried making this savory spring onion rolls recipe in small amount and will love to make it again due to how good it is. You can try it out too in small quantity before making it for family treat.
Lets go ahead to prepare this recipe with the below step by step process 🥐.
INGREDIENTS:


1/2 bunch of fresh spring onions 150 g of all purpose flour 1/4 cup of premium sugar 1/2 of a medium red onions 10 ml of vegetable oil 1/2 of medium ball lime 11/4 teaspoon of yeast 1/2 teaspoon of chili 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder 1/4 jug of warm water
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.


We start the recipe by first cleaning the spring onions and the red onions.


Then we wash thoroughly before slicing them here above.
Step 2.


We take our flour into a larger bowl for mixing. Add the salt, sugar and yeast.

We stir thoroughly to incorporate.
Step 3.


We add our warm water gradually, and squeeze in the lime to obtain our sour dough above



Add little veggie oil for a fine knead

We cover for 20 minutes in a warm place to double in size.
Step 4.


While we are waiting for the dough to rise, we take the spring onions and red onions in a plate

Add the chili powder, curry powder, salt and few drops of vegetable oil.

We stir to thoroughly incorporate them.
Step 5.

Here the doubled dough we will slash into straight chunks.

And spread each chunk adding the onions mixture as filling and roll it up.
Step 6.


Here we close the two edges up with a fork and pork some holes on each roll.

Once its ready, we take it into the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 180 Celsius.
