For the CCC's Street Art Contest #250 organized by @digi-me, I'm featuring this superb mural done by the famous Spanish artist duo Pichiavo. It's always cool to have such a famous StreetArt mural not too far from home. I had posted for the first CCC's Street Art Contest a mural made for the Mural Festival in 2019, impressive (see at the end of the post) that has since disappeared. Fortunately, this wall remains 🤞.
Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #250 organisé par @digi-me, je vous propose une superbe murale réalisée par le célèbre duo d'artistes espagnols Pichiavo. C'est toujours cool d'avoir une murale d'artistes StreetArt aussi célèbre pas trop loin de chez-soi. J'avais posté pour le premier CCC's Street Art Contest une murale réalisée pour le Mural Festival en 2019, impressionnante (voir à la fin du post) qui a disparu depuis. Heureusement il reste ce mur.

Pichiavo
I don't know if I need to introduce Pichiavo. But for newcomers, they're a duo of Spanish artists from Valencia. They mix classical art and graffiti to create their own universe, an “urban mythology” as they call it. In general, they try to adapt their work to the environment, as is the case here.
Je ne sais pas s'il est nécessaire de présenter Pichiavo. Mais pour les nouveaux, il s'agit d'un duo d'artistes espagnoles de Valence. Ils mélangent l'art classique et le graffiti pour créer leur propre univers, une "mythologie urbaine" comme ils l'appellent. En général, ils essaient d'adapter leurs fresques à l'environnement comme ici.
This mural is inspired by the Three Graces, a series of paintings that Pichiavo presented in 2023 at the S16 Gallery. You can find the exhibited works on their website Three Graces by Pichiavo. It's easy to recognize their style, with antique statues delicately laid over graffiti 😀. The final result is always stunning.
Cette murale est inspirée par les Trois Muses, une série de peinture que Pichiavo a présenté en 2023 dans la galerie S16 Gallery. Vous pouvez retrouver les oeuvres exposées sur leur site Three Graces by Pichiavo. On reconnait facilement leur style avec des statues antiques délicatement posées sur des graffitis 😀. Le résultat final est toujours magnifique.
In the introduction, I told you about this mural made for the 2019 edition of the Mural Festival (the new edition starts in less than a month, I can't wait 😀). Here's the result, impressive... I had used this work for my entry in the first contest CCC's Street Art Contest. This gives me the opportunity to congratulate and thank @digi-me for continuing to organize this contest week after week, which allows us to discover StreetArt from all over the world 🙏.
En introduction, je vous ai parlé de cette murale faite pour l'édition 2019 du Mural Festival (la nouvelle édition commence d'en moins d'un mois, je suis impatient 😀). Voici le résultat, impressionnant... J'avais utilisé cette oeuvre pour ma participation au premier concours CCC's Street Art Contest. Cela me donne l'occasion de féliciter et de remercier @digi-me pour continuer d'organiser semaine après semaine ce concours qui nous permet de découvrir du StreetArt provenant du monde entier** 🙏.
