Golden Huntrix Themed Birthday: Sapphire Denise Turns 8

 Birthdays are one of the most special events in one's lifetime. My co-teacher held a party for her daughter who is turning 8 years old. The theme is Golden Huntrix and it was held at Ze Marco Restaurant — *Bogo City, Northern Cebu, Philippines*. Her birthday party had a twist. She just turned 8 and it feels like she is turning 18. She had people and friends assigned to be her 8 candles, 8 flowers, 8 blue bills, 8 wishes, 8 treasures and 8 chocolates. Look at the invitation.    I belonged to the 8 chocolates, my son was one of the 8 flowers and my partner as one of the 8 wishes. **Sapphire's 7th Birthday Last Year**   Here are some throwback photos of my son Jacob and the birthday girl. It is the second year that we are celebrating her birthday with her since we have known each other since last year. Her mother and I are colleagues at Tuburan National High School. On the day of her 8th Birthday Party, we traveled from Tuburan at approximately 3:30 pm and arrived at 5:00 pm. We then went to **Ze Marco Restaurant** at around 5:10 pm. **HAPPY 8th Birthday To Our Favorite Golden Huntrix In Town!**    After we took some group photos, I took photos of the venue since there were not a lot of people for it was a little bit early, I did not missed the chance to take some photos.  **Sapphire's Birthday Cake** Her birthday cake is from one of Bogo City's most famous home bakers and we have been ordering from her also every time my son has a birthday. I can really attest that her cakes does not only look good but it also tastes so good.  **BEAUTIFUL DECORS** This is the front view of the area where the birthday girl sits the entire duration of her birthday party. It is beautifully designed by her parents since they own an event styling and coordination company. **BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAYS**  The birthday celebrant's parents prepared these loot bags for the children which had some chocolates and some goodies inside. **ZE MARCO RESTAURANT BOGO CITY**  The restaurant is owned by my elementary classmate's eldest sister whose husband is from Bacolod, which is known for their delicious and best-tasting chicken, which they proudly serve here also at **Ze Marco**. Here are the foods they had during the party. They are a family of Seventh Day Adventists therefore there is no pork, and no other seafood which are prohibited. All the foods served were SDA-friendly.      At around 5:30 pm, the party officially started. It began with the birthday symbolisms. **THE 8 CANDLES**   Each person assigned to be the 8 candles brought one candle each and when everyone was complete, the birthday girl blew all the 8 candles one by one. **THE 8 SUNFLOWERS**     It was then my son's turn to dance around with the birthday girl since he is one of the 8 sunflowers. They enjoyed their dance and it was such a beautiful thing to witness. **THE 8 WISHES**     My partner then went to express her birthday wishes and to give his present. It was so heartwarming to hear all the birthday wishes for the birthday girl. And when it was time to offer my present as I am one of the **8 CHOCOLATES**, I did not have any photos on my phone. Lol😅 I left it at the table with my son and my partner who was so busy playing Call Of Duty on their individual phones. They had an official photographer though, I will wait for those photos to be posted.   We then sang the celebrant a birthday song while she blew her candle. Then, it was time for dinner. After dinner, the birthday celebrant changed her outfit and had an intermission number. She sang all the Golden Huntrix songs.  It was such an excellent performance. She is indeed such a fan of Golden Huntrix for she was able to memorize all the lyrics well.  The party ended and we had some group photos together with my co-teachers invited students. It was just three of them. They also came all the way from Tuburan. It was such a fun party and it is very special because they celebrated it when she just turned 8. How much more when she will be turning 18? Right? I am so happy we get to be a part of this momentous event for their family and I am so happy for them. It was a success!
